Yeah, Craig was the man. If you like silly humour and you enjoyed these interviews with Jayma Mays I recommend you watch the Trial & Error tv series (also starring John Lithgow). It's absolutely hilarious. It's super goofy and sweet at the same time, just like Craig.
This girl is really smart and fun! She literally played Craig for half the show and was equally as funny as him if not more. She engaged him through the whole show (1) and was a sport going with every gag line. Then at the end she did the ultimate troll on him by faking she couldn’t play the mouth organ but was just as good as him. What did he expect she’s from Appalachian Virgina...damn right she could play the harmonica!
I grew up on Johnny Carson, and thought no one could equal his style. But Craig, even though he had no budget, shows that no one needs style to do what he does. Imagine what he would have done if he had a budget? Imagine what he would have done if he had a widget?

Craig Ferguson is about the only late night guy who ever made me want to watch interviews. Late Night With David Letterman (the NBC show) was pretty much perfect TV, but I usually flipped channels when the guests came out. Ferguson just kills it in interviews.
My only question is - why hasn’t she been on more films?? She’s such a beautiful person. Inside and out. I never knew just what a gem she is. Thanks for posting Craig’s show.

No need to work 4 days a week when he can rip off a week of game shows in one day. No talk show host can ever replicate the playful flirtation that he so easily engaged in. Also his manic comic exchanges with Robin Williams and Ricky Gervais are CLASSIC! He had them rolling. Ever the equal.
You certainly were! Yeah, I guess he knew his own worth. It's sad for us he quit the show, but I think he made the right personal choice. I can't beleive she's from Grundy. That really makes me wonder if she's hiding an accent. It's out in the moutains, she wasn't kidding when she stressed it was small, especially when she would have been growing up, the town has grown now. They used to have razors in the ribbon of their hats, I talked to a producer a few years before the show was commissioned about how my Grandad believed the teddy boys were the reincarnation of the peaky blinders. Likely unconnected, but he grew up round Birmingham.
