What a beautiful jungle garden in such a short time! and so many plants in such beautiful health. it's true the good side of a little invasive is the rapid filling of a border. Lot of work but magnificent result.
Amazing Mark, I have a lot of Ferns too, they are such cool plants. Very envious of your passion flower plant, I have planted 2 and both died ! My garden is south facing and gets very hot so had to find the shadiest part for my beloved ferns , many of which came with me from my previous home. Never known passion flower plants to die, had a huge one at previous house.
Hi there. Not one place in particular, we tend to just visit lots of places and pick them up as we go along. Having said that, there are often tips in various Facebook groups and surprisingly b&m bargains in spring. Also search for the video on "nobridge" on my channel. Best wishes. Mark
Hey Marc, what a garden! Everything succeeds what you plant. I wonder if you still have plans for a greenhouse? I hope you can maintain everything by yourself for the rest of your life! All those plants en stuff ... Greetings from Belgium!
Lovely area your exotic tropical border and fernery. Love the ‘green men’ where did you get them? BTW the rose I moved 2 weeks ago has got 3 buds so must’ve done something right!
Hi Daphne, great news about your rose. The green men faces are from a local farmer who has diversified into stone products. are you near cheshire? Mark
My musa bajoo does not seem to be getting much height Last year it died to the ground with the freezing winter and then took all summer to get to about 30cm. I managed to save that trunk this last winter but is growing very slowly and not really much taller than it was at the end of last year. Any tips on getting it going?
Hi Daniel if you search my channel you will find vids on this. But essentially I wrap the stalk/trunk in insulation to stop it freezing to the centre. And mulch heavily autumn with manure. Mark
Enjoyed this update Mark. Your overwintering, mulching, protection and propagation methods sustain your exotic border so well!
Hi there and thank you 😊 yes it's all in the mulching I believe. Hope you are well. Mark

A friend bought an elephant ears corm earlier in the year. It’s now 5ft tall with approx 18 inch long leaves and 12 inches wide. It’s a lovely plant

One of our japonicas also has leaves like that. Did you find out what was wrong?
I haven't yet. It's on my 'to do' list 😶 leave it with me.

What position are they in? They need full sun to grow quickly.
