How does no one know what the emperor looks like 😂 make it make sense 😂😂😂 the drama gets interesting at the half way mark. ML is a green flag. Baby is not ML's daughter which is amazing for a cdrama
This is a very good “Stolen Identity / Goddess of War”-story with good actors and a storyline that is refreshing in being twisted/mixed in a new way and an ending that isn’t typical when children are involved. I loved this clear-headed/powerful/righteous FL and protective/respecting/loving ML - and the cute/sweet kid. Despite the few missing scenes, this is definitely well worth watching. SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! 5 years ago, FL was a maid and she fell in love with the young master (2ML). One day he was drugged and they ended up having sex and he gave her his jade-pendant as a way to identify her. But his mother kicked FL out. So, FL entered the army and became a powerful female, masked General. Now she is back from the war and ready to start her civil life again. At the award ceremony she receives a marriage certificate sent from 2ML’s mother, saying that if FL is willing to use her internal energy to extend her life, she will allow FL to marry him. But before being able to receive her award, she leaves with the messenger, handing her mask and name-tag to a subordinate (2FL) in order for her to pretend to be FL and receive the award on her behalf. Little does she know that 2FL takes advantage of the situation and steals FL’s identity. On her way to treat 2ML’s mother, FL leaves the daughter she gave birth to after that night, to the Emperor (ML) - who is secretly in love with FL. Sadly, after using up her internal energy, she realizes that she has been tricked and that 2ML has no intention of marrying her. In fact he thinks FL forced his mother to agree to a marriage with him so he hits her, leading FL to lose the jade-pendant. He even tells her that he has someone else in his heart, not knowing that FL is that woman. When FL tells him, he doesn’t believe her because she lost the jade-pendant to prove it. And then 2FL arrives and claims to be the one he spent the night with. FL ends up being taken to a brothel after seeing 2FL take over her life, the awards from the Emperor, her title as Princess and the man she loves. At the brothel, 2FL subjects FL to torture and hammers nails into her body before attempting to hang her. Luckily, the Emperor arrives in town, gets the news of what happened to FL and goes to the brothel to save her. Also 2ML goes there since he found the jade-pendant in the room after everyone left. But once again he believes in 2FL instead of the severely injured FL. Well, not spoiling too much, this has an atypical but definitely happy ending.

I kinda like this type of plot where 2nd ML is not black hearted and obsessed till the end and let go of FL, happy ending for all.
This is a great plot. I actually love the ex's redemption as part of the plot. It really helped round off the story in a great way.
There were just a few moments that made this drama bearable. The ending for sure, as most comments mentioned. I think it's a strong 5/10
