Some are gone, some are married with kids, some of us lost our way only to find our way back. But really, takes me back to the moment I'm chillin in my room talking with a friend who was close like a sister. Wasn't till this song hit realized I liked her more than just as a friend, she felt the same. Yet nothing happened after the revelation, it was all on me. Never pulled the trigger cause I was too focused on other options. One regret I have to this day was never saying and showing how I truly felt. Lesson learned. No matter where time and place takes us, always be the one moment and memory I have. Always be our song, AE and NC❤️ always.

I moved away to another town a month later and while we wrote each other a couple of letters, we quickly went on with our lives. But I will always remember her thanks to this song.

It’s unbelievable how this song can still stand string and hit hard after all these years. Hits home no matter what. That nostalgic feeling when everything was alright but at the same time been able to afford to be broken hearted. Stevie B was and he will always hit hard.

I knew about "I Wanna Be The One" That's the jam. I heard THAT song for the first time in years, while my wife and I were in Ft. Lauderdale in 2018.
