Viserys & Rhaenyra | Beautiful Boy

I've been thinking about this combination since I started repeatedly listening to this song again. Seeing it becoming a TikTok trend in which daughters introduce their fathers by showing pictures of them together inspired me greatly.
The song was originally written by John Lennon for his son Sean, whom he had with his second wife Yoko Ono. Sean was known to be John's "favorite son" since he's the most cherished one of Lennon's two sons, unlike Julian, his eldest, who was described as having "came out of a whiskey bottle" and who never received the same amount of love. Well, this reminds me of how precious Rhaenyra seemed to Viserys while we've never seen him show the same commitment and attention to his other children, let alone imagine for one second that one of them would reign. He loved Aemma so much that, I think, he was blinded by it and saw Rhaenyra as the continuity of his late wife, and therefore did everything he could to let her have it, no matter what anyone would think, no matter the troubles it would cause her in the future.
I loved their relationship and I loved seeing it evolve throughout this season, even if Viserys tends to annoy me sometimes. He may have been foolish and made questionable choices, but he still remains a good father to Rhaenyra and proved himself to have been utterly indulgent, and kind.
