    It’s crazy how something that simple can make such a huge difference. Thanks fellas!

    Just did this last month with Krylon Fusion plastic compatible paint. Dramatic improvement on 02 S60 2.4T.

    I’ve owned multiple s60 T5s all of which have been pre-facelift cars that have had the horrible looking faded trim since they’re like 17-21yrs old. I always repaint the trim black right after I get them. 3 of them have been this light tan color. My current one I repainted it black, then bought color matched paint in can off eBay and repainted it the light tan. I have never been a fan of this color it’s good for a sleeper build but that’s not my style. My car is now dark hunter green with custom made one off bumpers based off the 05+ facelift versions.

      It’s a very different color for sure. We’ve seen your exhaust videos and saw the same color car multiple times until it was sprayed black. It is a hard color to work with, as like you, its not a super ideal color. We have thought about changing the color plenty of times which me way do someday, possibly a green such as yours is what we had in mind or even a darker green such as forest green matte or wine red matte. All ideas that we hopefully will do someday!😎

    Hi Guys
    Great video as always. I just ordered some plastic trim/bumper paint after watching you. I only used a solution on the plastic before. It was okay but needed regular attention. It has been 7 month I last commented on your other video and a lot happened to my Volvo since then. I did the stage 0 tune you suggested in your other vid. Coil packs, sparkplugs, new clutch plate, pressure plate, flywheel, slave cylinder, cold air intake is undergoing an upgrade at the moment😉, all vacuum hoses replaced including those in line one way valves. PCV completely renewed, oil pan dropped (cleaned) and all oil seals replaced, coolant and power steering reservoir replaced, clutch pedal position sensor replaced so my cruise control work fine now🙂 new auxiliary belt+tentioner and cam belt+tentioner. I had to remove the VVT hub and managed to clean it because it was not working properly...it was sticking. Had to put on a second hand VVT solenoid too.
    Next is the exhaust system but not sure how... it is 60mm diameter pipe at the moment... Maybe a catback exhaust system.🤔 My turbo is a TD04l12T its running on 0.5bar/ 7-8psi (stock)
    Keep up the good work and looking forward to see more cool vids from you.😉

      What’s up! The attention to detail is immaculate. You doing all of this even out plays is with our S60 as we haven’t even done most of the things you’ve done. Your car definitely is ready for Stage 1, Stage 2 and honestly even Stage 3. These motors really do not like she performance is added without the proper maintenance before hand. Speaking of your exhaust, we are currently in the process of making the next Volvo exhaust compilation and if you have a video of yours you would like to share, we would love to showcase if for you! Keep us updated we really want to know where your project ends up. It seems to never end with the passion for these cars and it’s awesome!👍

    Looks great! I have been using Solution Finish for a while now with no complaints besides the 4ish months it last. I also found it much easier to just remove the front trim v. taping the front end off for when I painted the front

      We’ve tried using the Solution Finish and it works okay but not what we were looking for. The front bumper was a pain to do plus we have to still do the lower piece. It’s a little on the heavier side of work duration, but definitely worth the time!😎

    Looks sickkkk. I have a 2004 s60 and I really want to do this. One question, did you sand any of the trim or just a clean before painting?

    • @WhipGetters
      @WhipGetters Год назад +1

      No sanding is really necessary when doing this to trim because it’s already textured. Make sure to wash the car before and if you wanna go the extra mile, use some alcohol to clean the surface of the trim! That should get you great results!👍
