In case you are wondering why I keep fooling with this small video, (looks best on a tablet or smaller), I just like it. I love Ramón Vargas and all the principles are good singers. There is not a serious disappointment in the lot, except I would prefer a deeper bass for the part of Wurm, but the singer does a fine job, and there are not too many non-commercial videos available of this opera with really good singing.
Ana María Martínez is always at first class level. Just beautiful, strong singing and great interpretation as well. Excellent job!

@@mianom It seems we are getting less of that as opera on video is becoming so widely accepted and available. I hope so anyway! 😊
A always get a giggle from this and Sonnambula, where one young woman is randomly everybody's favorite person. Like the whole village is a little too obsessed with her
Ha, yes, and especially in Sonnambula, where poor Lisa, is considered to be the bad girl and here everyone's favorite, Amina has stolen her boyfriend!😄
