🤔 Dr Barylo, thank you for your wise words. I stand with 🇵🇸 as an atheist and humanitarian, hoping that eventually those in 🇮🇱 who are so fearful of ‘Others’ will come to their senses and recognise our common humanity 💐🕊.

Many Israelis recognize our common humanity and are pained that so many people must die. But they also recognize (which you don't) that unless Hamas is disabled they themselves will be killed. It is a rational fear, and Hamas does not deny its intentions.

    Hello dr
I have a request...if it's possible please make a video about Israelis hostage being freed...specifically about their mental health and social behavior...they have been hostage for 50 days and yet they don't show any signs of trauma...they even treat their captors in friendly manner
    Thank you

It is also our failure as a muslim community that we failed to unite people & teach them the knowledge of Quran & sunnah.
That leaves the room for some black sheep to manipulate masses among Muslims. That lead to a rise in sectarianism and violence in the name of religion.
The same applies to the Israelis.
Islam is the closest religion to Judaism in beliefs. For centuries, Muslims & Jews have been living together (with the exception of Jews of Medina who broke the treaty).

I'm Palestınıªn and don't think this has to do with our inability to "teach Islam". Palestınıªn Christians and Palestınıªn Atheists are peaceful, yet are still demonized and dehumanized. No one in Isræl is looking at Palestınıªn Muslıms and thinking "they're not well-versed enough in their faith".
In fact, it's quite the opposite. It's Palestınıªan Muslıms who attempt to show humility & gratitude to their God, irrespective of the pain and suffering they feel. Not once do they curse their occupiers or allow their despair to embitter them, instead you see a steadfastness to remain hopeful despite their despair.
This reduction of the issue to religion is an Isræli talking point and we shouldn't amplify it or legitimize it in any way. We know deep down that this Islamoph0bıa is simply a bigotry that attempts to project all flaws unto the victims, rather than admit that the flaws lie in the occupıers (who attempt to punish Palestınıªns for being different).

This is why it's important for Anti-Zio Jᵉws, Palestınıªn Christians and Palestınıªn Atheists like myself, to make an effort to speak up on behalf of our fellow Muslıms, bc our existence and our solidarity destroys the blanket stereotype of "Muslım extremısts" that so often gets projected unto innocent civilians.
When we show diversity in faith, diversity in color (white, black, brown), and diversity in background (nationality, class, sᵉxuality, gender, education), it becomes extremely difficult for them to build caricatures of hate or to brand the Palestınıªn movement as anti-semıtes.
Clearly, the common thread between all of us is our humanitarianism, which infuriates Zios who can't dismiss global millions so easily. It's the first time our narrative is given any opportunity to be heard, so we need to be careful about how we frame the root issues and their solutions.
*Continued in separate consent for digestible reading...

    • @YourMajesty143
      @YourMajesty143 6 месяцев назад

Lastly, we all have to be careful not to internalize racıst, anti-semıtıc and islam0phobic tropes as we learn about Zi0nist history. We also can't allow anti-semıtes to enter our safe spaces. They will drop their masks around you and expect you to co-sign their hatred bc they believe that "the enemy of my enemy is my friend". Don't fall for it. It used to be that we were so invisible, that we felt afraid to turn away any "allies".
But this is a problem bc these bigots were never allies, they are infiltrators who wish to tokenize our victimhood in order to legitimize their bigoted philosophy - much like Zi0nism did with Jᵉwısh persecution. We need to be wary of such vampires and oust them from our spaces. You hearing islam0phobic rhetoric is causing you to wrongly internalize Zio hatred and your reaction is to rationalize the issue with "no true Scotsman" fallacies.
Did you know that 85% of Hms are orphans? They all think they're Batman ready to avenge their families and protect the people. So even in the imaginary world where the resıstance learns Islªm according to your standards, the outcomes wouldn't change, bc the driving force behind their behaviors is the occupªtıon and oppressıon, not a misguidance of faith. I hope that makes sense.

As a psychologist, what do you think about the subliminal effect of recitation?
Since childhood, Muslims are told to recite the Al-Fatiha, 5 times every day, and they continue their recitation into adulthood.
Our words are potent. What we say repeatedly to ourselves is more compelling than what someone else tells us.
This is why it’s almost impossible, to convince a devout praying Muslim, that God’s nature isn’t necessarily constrained into a singular entity, or that Jews are not cursed.
What we repeatedly say to ourselves, regardless of its validity, becomes our truth and belief. What are your thoughts about the subliminal effects of your daily recitation ?

As most Muslims don't understand Arabic, a lot of people recite prayers in a foreign language without knowing the meaning of what they recite.

Hi doc. As a pro-israel orthodox Jew, I can see your analysis of the conflict seems relatively open-minded and fair compared to others I've seen but I have a few critical points to make.
You mentioned the disgust that many Jew have for neturei karta in comments and explained it based off of an outsider discrimination psychology, but the fact is the main problem we orthodox have with them - aside from the fact that they've met with sworn anti-semites, holocaust deniers, and convicted terrorists and express support for Hamas - is that they distort traditional halacha and Torah perspectives while speaking in the name of normative mainstream rabbinic Judaism. This is something that hits hard emotionally for many, and isn't simply some sort of hateful human psychology.
The second point I'd make is that many of the clips presented in this video of Israeli officials speaking, appear to be taken out of context, and, when viewed in they're entirety, can clearly be understood as referring solely to Hamas. Also bear in mind that in the heat of the moment, after the worst massacre on Jews since the Holocaust, it's almost understandable that some hot-blooded Israelis said things they didn't necessarily mean in the most literal level. That being said, good luck man. Respect

Super useful Dr. Barlo. Peace is the goal of my country's government. It's asleep 😴 though atm. I am working on changing my mindset towards implementation of Law of Peace in bureaucracy. I don't know if it exists really so I believe its new territory politically too. Many processes w.fees can be eliminated and streamlined. Our culture definitely understands stewardship of our lands from before European & American contact. I love your explanations about those circuits get turned off but turns on again with human interaction. That people will make an exception is a good first step. They should be challenged on extending it to the group. Keeping exceptions is mental effort.

You speak facts, I hope your videos reach more people. I'm not related to jews, arabs, or muslims, but I see how important it is not only to know these truths that you're saying, but also to have jews and israelis present in our media in a way that we can see them/you as human. Since october, I've seen many (good, reasonable) people flirting with anti-semitism and it's because we've been shown the ugly face of Israel (and international zionism) like never before. So it's more important than ever to know that not everyone is like that, it's just the consequences of an ideology that doesn't care about the "other", and also about the damage it does to its own people.
