Great video!! Love the violet haired mermaid Odile. One of my favorites. I agree about the Defa Lucy, im on the fence with mine too. She isnt as, forgive my definition, cheaply made as i thought, but its the face sculpt. Im not sure though . Great dolls in the video though...❤🎉😊
I agree. In retrospect, I will not be using the Defa Lucy doll. The face is just not my jam, for me. I saw on @adultdollcollecter a Defa Lucy doll, and she made her look great, but I think I will pass.

By the way, the Asian Made To Move tennis player is not on a tall body...she is on an original one.

Great video! I am curious what you do with the dolls you swiped the clothes and bodies from? That’s the only thing keeping me from buying and swiping. I don’t know what to do with the dolls I don’t want 😂
You can resell them or donate them. I give mine to my daughter and nieces 😂
I have a few places I donate to around here. The pediatric ward at a hospital in Bangor, a woman’s shelter also in Bangor, and a therapist who specializes in kids. I also give them away to friends who want them for their kids. Although I take the clothes I want, the dolls are given other clothes and shoes.

I used to have one of the bags that come with the RH kimono fashion pack but mine was see -through pink plastic and felt like the jelly shoes they used to make

I’m from around the same time as you and I remember having a black bathing suit so high on the hips, my dad wasn’t to trilled about it😂, I was 15 at the time on a trip to Florida with him in 1988. I adored that bathing suit and had the body to rock it back then!!😂 (not anymore😂). I would try to do what you said you’d do with the purple one. Make them a 2 pieces and pinch the waist a bit. All the dolls and bathing suits are gorgeous!!🤗❤

I am a HUGE procrastinator! Oh yes, I miss my old figure from way back! Gosh, if I had understood men back then, I would have been freaking lethal! Sigh. It’s probably a good thing, lol. I think I would have gotten into shenanigans if I had known what I had. I kinda think it is Gods warped humor. He lets us understand romantic interests when we pass the age of wanting to use what he gave us. And when we are young, we are too busy thinking we are not enough. Warped humor. Oy!

I really love the Brooklyn I am waiting for her to go on sale again who did you use to rebody her? Love the Odile mermaid as well I bought 2 of her one has been rebodied I just love her purple and pink hair! I will not be buying any defa lucy's they are cute but their hair and limbs are not great quality for the price.
I used the new athletic made to move body. I got it at Target. I hope you can get her soon.

Hey! :) Do you have by any chance the pink haired open mouth Odile mermaid? If yes, could you check if he skin tone matches the surfer girl you got? I actually collect Defa Lucy (I already 10 of them and 2 are in shipping to me). I am living in Germany. Here we have quite a hard time to get our hands on Dolls for reasonable prices. And mostly the target exclusive red heads.
I do not have that doll, I am sorry. My father grew up in Germany. He absolutely loved living there!

@@VictoriasDollHangout yes I am also not so much a fan of the tall bodies. (the volleyball player is tall) but as a short chubby person I do love the curvy body.
