Edit: He has (unfortunately) never represented Sweden in Eurovision Song Contest. But in 2015 he competed in the "try out" (Melodifestivalen) with this song. He came on 2nd place after Måns Zelmerlöw (who won Eurovision for Sweden that year). I actually voted for Jon Henrik in Melodifestivalen. 😉🇸🇪
He also competed 3 more times in the same competition and came 3rd and 4th place on those times.

Nice song and review. I like that you play it through without stopping. Are you guys Filipino? The priest at my church in Sacramento Father Rey is Filipino, he was just recently promoted to bishop. We love him, he is always so happy

One of his more uplifting songs - but not sure there is a song that isn't really felt by Jon Henrik....but you should also check out another one either the song from eurovision or the other cross he did with another Swedish singer called "The Way You Make Me Feel" the emotional content in everything he's done is off the charts.

Jon Henrik isn't greatful. He IS Sami. He was adopted by a Sami couple and grew up in the culture. He is a reindeer herder. And a musician. And he's involved in political activism to protect the rights of the Sami people.
Sweden is a mixed country. Not everyone is white, blond and blue-eyed.
And we do have summers. It's been 28 degrees at its worst this summer, and we're hoping that it won't be as warm as 2018, when forest fires broke out here and there.
We're very proud of Jon Henrik. He's Swedish, he's Colombian, he's Sami, he's a wonderful person and an amazing singer.
