This video never gets old. It inspired me back in 2015 to go to AXALP which in did in 2021. Best airshow on the planet! I can't wait to go back someday...

People don't give the Tiger F5 respect. It's still a formidable fighter, and great for point defense.
VMFT-401 uses the F-5N's former Swiss AF.

O meu caros eis ai o f5 tiger uma aeronave que admiro e o único lugar onde poderei pilotar uma é no simuladores de PC ou no ace combat e infelizmente não introduziram esta aeronave no ace combat 7 senti falta do nosso F5 e do tornado que é sem duvidas uma excelente aeronave parabéns ao criadores deste vídeo.
Outstanding video, but for the soundtrack.
I mean, it's totally cool at the beginning when you're preparing for the day and at the end when you're coming back.
But NOT during the action! All the people wants to hear are screaming jets and farting guns!
This is my personal opinion, but I have a feeling I'm not the only one out there.

Arent aerodynamics fascinating? The Grippen uses the same engine as the Hornet but just one and achieves better performance. So cool. Still love the Hornet though
What's the Gripen doing there ? AFAIK it's not part of the swiss airforce.
I dont understand how the swiss could overturn the choice to buy the gripen.
And even more choose not to buy any new aircraft at all.
While the F5 is a nice aircraft and i like it myself its Ancient and very outdated.
And while u can upgrade it with better technology thats not the problem.
The Airframes got so many hours on them that maintnance is very expensive and takes alot of time.
The Gripen is 1 of the best Aircraft around and the NG will be even better.
Its also the most Economic Fighter around and is cheaper not only to buy but to maintain then any other comparable aircraft.

they said no... I said yes, as many...and I think that military choice for equipment should not be voted by the citizen... we can see why, its full of leftists and ecolos or foreigner's children who will just vote against, result our army is weakened
Ach komm, mach dir doch nichts vor. Die Schweizer Armee ist noch ein größerer Witz als die Bundeswehr, die kann doch überhaupt keinen ernsthaften Krieg führen. Im Prinzip kann man die Neubeschaffung auch danach richten was für die Patrouille Suisse am geeignetsten ist.
Genau meine Meinung...ich bin nun wirklich kein Armeegegner oder so,aber unsere Armee wird von verdammten Diletanten geführt....und wenn sich die Schweden nicht in den Beschaffungs"kampf" mit Propaganda eingemischt hätten,dann wäre die Chance glaub ich recht gut gewesen für den Grippen....Tatsache ist egal welchen Jet wir auch immer kaufen....bringen tut es nicht viel....es waren mal 36 FA18.....36!was zum Teufel will ich mit 36 Flugzeugen.....
They have no enemies. They don't really need fighter jets at all. I question why they bought anything but search and rescue choppers.

The F-5 seems to be making faster and tighter turns then the F-18 and the Gripen.
