I saw him for the first time last year, listening to him for about 13, I was so touched by his performance, and even tho in the time he had some health troubles he apologized for, he still finished the show, and man, I've been on lots of festivals and concerts, but none of them touched my heart like his performance and care for his fans, the energy, and emotions... it's something I'm gonna remember for the rest of my life
It's dope AF to see these guys on stage together. But Jacoby missed damn near an entire verse that seemed like it was meant for him. The rest was seriously awesome! That really was pretty cool.

I’m a huge fan and have tremendous respect for what Ronnie has accomplished the past 3-4 years. His writing abilities are state of the art!
But is there really no other fan out there dissapointed about the fact that he‘s literally relying on the vocal backing tracks?
I‘m not into that „laptop debate“ that Sebastian Bach escalated about - I’m just disappointed from a musicians point of view.

SO MANY artists do it. It sucks, but it seems like the bands that don't are the exception at this point. I don't necessarily hold it against them, but I'd have mad respect for a band that didn't rely on a backtrack.
@@thunderwatch8463 Well I mean not every band can bring a full orchestral with them all the time; imagine trying to perform a Nightwish or Within Temptation song without backing track. Keyboards can only do so much for orchestral/symphony layers of a song.
@@paivioselanne obviously, there are cases where a backtrack is needed. I think most of the audience is fine with a backtrack being used for orchestral parts. When comes to vocals, I do expect to hear the vocalist(s) actually perform.
Yep, I'm with you. Mentioned something in my comment to someone else before I saw this. The lyrics, the vocals, all on point and that's why most of us love FIR. However, they leave something to be desired live. The dude on guitar with the backup vocals smashes though. Some of the songs I think I hear him more than Ronnie. I too could care less about the laptops and other shit that you honestly need to have a good live show these days, but other bands, let's take Papa Roach for example, do it WAY better; granted with tons of more stage experience. But Jacoby is actually singing like non stop vs Ronnie breaking, what it seems, like 30-40% of the song.

I love Ronnie, but man, Jacoby's energy is on another level. He makes any song so much crazier.
I saw FIR and Papa Roach on the Rockzilla tour and as much as I like FIR, Papa Roach/Jacoby has just so much more energy. Watching Ronnie kind of strut back and forth on stage doesn't give the same vibe. He's got great vocals, but seems like he skips half the songs live. Ronnie and Jacoby have a neat friendship going on and that's nice to see in the rock community, especially with how polarizing Ronnie can be.

So happy for Ronnie for what? FIR and Papa Roach have toured together numerous times, with FIR headlining some of the tours over Papa Roach. This is just another Tuesday for him.
I thought when I missed Jacoby with Ice Nine Kills at Aftershock that I'd missed a once in a lifetime opportunity. So glad that FIR proved me wrong. I was there and when I saw him walk out my jaw hit the ground instantly

Jacoby fits anywhere bc hes that great. If an artist cant switch it up they dont stay relevant like Papa Roach has. Ive seen them 5 or 6 times and evertime he comes out into the audience.
