That young man .......9years young , so articulate and genuinely a true enthusiast . And a great show to top it all ! Have to say the tribute Mustang and Charger both accurately presented rolled back the years . Thanks Richard
In one clip the 9 yrs old car guy . then his mum in the background , then near the end of the vid the young mans younger brother. Everyone but the dad who is paying for all this .
I liked Henry with the MGB, the Dino was beautiful as well as the XJ120. I bought a Mark II Jag for $400.00 but sold it to my father that night. He had pointed it out but I saw a 65 Chevy Impala while going to buy the Jag and it was better for the 3,000 mile drive from Pennsylvania to California I made the next week. Chevy cost $400 also. The Bullet cars were great too, thanks again.
Hi 👋 lovely countryside. I was amused by the red telephone box that you passed. That's something I remember from the past. We don't have them here in NZ anymore. I recorded on my phone a 1966 Chevrolet Impala yesterday. It was green in colour and in beautiful condition. I would like to send you my recordings of cars . Many of the cars on show there are becoming rare now, even cars from the 1980s/ 90s. Young Henry must be the only 9 year old kid that owns a car. I like the Dino Ferrari, very nice indeed .
The video files would be way too large for emailing over sadly. A red phone box will be appearing in another video hopefully before too long. Thanks for watching.
Good to know that the Jag behaved itself and delivered Mrs OCC to the meet in style. Nice to see her guest appearance; I'd love to hear her thoughts on living with two old classic car nuts, even if it's only in audio.
Nice to see the owner of the Dino had resisted putting any Ferrari badging on it ( i wonder how many owners have now taken off the badging now with the way the prices have shot up !! )
Oh that Dino was grand and in a great colour. The Mustang and the Dodge Charger really looked the part. Far too many to mention but I must congratulate young Henry at all of 9 years old with his MGB. He is proof (along with Harley) that the classic car movement is safe in the hands of young people. There is a school of thought that says young people have no interest in classic cars but I am increasingly finding that is not the case. Great video Rick thank you for putting it out. Must not forget a shout out to Mrs OCC as well trying desperately to avoid the camera. 👍👍👍
Looking at the Ford Pop reminded me of my father-in-law in the sixties who sported a similar car with the usual vacuum wipers, 3 speed box, rubber mats and optional heater. I rather ungratiously held the car in contempt more so as I had recently bought a 2 year old Austin Mini Super De Luxe which was my pride and joy and was the 'it' car of the sixties. Came the day when Pop in law (excuse the pun) had to have his car MOT'd with me telling him that the 'Dagenham Dustbin' had no chance of passing. Lo and behold it passed with a clean bill of health. What made it worse was that the Mini failed it's MOT through early corrosian of the rear sub frame and the tables were turned on me! My Pa in law never let me forget this until I also joined the Dagenham brigade several years later!

@@oldclassiccarUK well I look forward to another video featuring a red telephone box.

Maybe one day, although I'm not sure I'd want to hear her thoughts ...

It looks like a very nice event. Great video and presentation. All the best Bob

Great Video! Thanks for coming and capturing the evening (and Henry!). We hope you will be able to come to our next meet in April 2025.
Hi, glad you liked it!!! Yep hope to get along to your meetings next year :-)

Yes BMC's finest was a little prone to the metal moth, as were most cars of that era sadly. Thanks for watching!
Nice one RJ
Looks like the Jaguar is sorted. 😅
A good selection of cars, though most were too modern for me. Thanks
Excellent video great cars and turnout
Thanks for outing😊😮😮
Glad you enjoyed it
At 4:34 that was the Mrs. and the youthful assistant ? 55:50 Car Attraction .
Mrs OCC does make a fleeting appearance in this one (I forget the exact timestamp though)
The lightweight E type belongs to my mate Paul....he has others.
Yes a couple of his other cars have featured in our vids before now, including his V12 E-Type and recently-bought Austin 7
When I think of CLASSIC CARS I immediately think of the amazing cars of the UK. I have never been into american cars, I find them boring.
I like some American cars, mainly pre-1960s, the fins era has never really interested me enough to want one for myself. Thanks for watching.
