- Lots of talks lately about missing old metas in Dragon Ball Legends, so I thought it would be cool to go back to Old Dragon Ball Legends in today's video with DiddySauce!

Obviously the current one. Super balanced, you get to play the game, no auto-counters. Isn’t it crazy that we don’t even have an ULTRA Frieza or Gohan yet?
Before UVB existed the game was fun 🤩

Now that I think of it old Legends pvp would be very chill and fun coz basically at that time you didn't have abilities that Legends limited and ultra's have and pvp would be just normal ya know
when green green yellow meta was relevant and u were there, u wouldve said otherwise
look at Ultra UI Goku I pulled him a few months back and he singlehandedly takes out 3 units all by himself almost everytime they made him broken, you can't beat him in clashes, he stops switching, insane health regen, dodges rush attacks and that's just ultra Ui Goku he other ultras are busted in their own way like ssj2 Gohan but yeah the meta is quite a shame right now

As long as they also remove the zenkais/effects of zenkais from units to make it actually feel pre 3rd

Nano genuinely sucks at Dragon Ball Legends, you can even see it in those Dragon Ball Legends Randomizers with Diddy and Raiyuden. Every time he loses, he always makes up an excuse about why he got defeated. He mostly loses to Diddy and Raiyuden. And, it's true though, the way he plays genuinely irks me since I always see all the mistakes he commits.
Y’all had to be there when Rhyme and Nano first fought bro, the game was just so different back then man, literally any unit you would put on a team would work lmao
especially on the skills of the top players as well. like the no.1 player of that time would get folded and grilled till medium rare by the average current/modern player

Bro should have used yellow kale and caulifla for the last fight. They have really cool animations.
I been using them again lately, the blue card does stupid damage and they can tank on cover change.

The revisit to the old metas were quite nostalgic, although looking at everything in retrospective, Legends has quite gone a long way but slowly but surely put quite a lot more focus on making the most broken units with the strongest quirks and abilities
Wait, did you count RED SSB Goku and PUR SSB Vegeta as a part of the post 2nd anni to 3rd anni group? They were the last banner that came out for 2nd Anni and the banner right after was the funny “THE CRUSHER” banner with Turles and SSJ Goku

They should add a gamemode where there are no special gimmicks (apart from maybe cover changes to stop massive combos) and the pvp is just well pvp and you can’t get punished for fighting your opponent
It would be fun to see u guys take in old meta teams, like og regen team vs og movie team

The team two carded every unit in the game, card draw speed was not nerfed and worst of all blast armor gave you back your dodge.

Last time I ever played this game was during the pre-release beta and I pulled 7 copies of the Int scouter Vegeta and nobody could even come close to touching him let alone the cpus all my friends quit during the beta because not a single person could even touch my Vegeta
I think he was the best ki blast character and Goku was the best strike character so the ki blasts completely made goku useless it was hilarious back then
