This video is uncanny to me. The ten minute attack was probably worse than most ten-minute animations I've done, and it left me feeling confident. Then I saw the one-hour attack and realised I had been baited. This shit is awesome, and your videos (which got me into pixel art in the first place) are an inspiration to me. I love your style, and the detail you can create with just a few colours.
Oh, and the ten-hour attack? What the hell. I consider 'talent' to be an insulting term because it devalues the hard work of experienced artists, but you definitely have some serious talent. The flame effects, that incredible smear dissipation, the consistently clear and engaging posing, the conveyance of movement, the glow of each carefully placed pixel, even the attention to detail with the screen shake...god damn.

so glad i found this account! i've been focusing lately on trying to make a YOMI hustle mod for one of my OCs and i have never done pixel art animation-- or pixel art as a whole so this is really helpful to see the inner workings of making attack animations especially because that's what the game is oriented on. keep making good videos! 😁

ngl it would take me like 2 hours just to do your 10 minute animation, it's not that im bad at pixel art or animation, i just struggle so hard to focus on it, i give myself a 10 minute timer just to do a single draft frame and that's me on an abnormally productive lmao
