Raisa truly excels as a hostess, surpassing expectations at every turn! I am immensely grateful to Raisa for graciously revealing to Brent the profound beauty of our Bangladesh. Last year, I left Bangladesh to pursue my higher studies in Canada and since then there hasn’t been a single day I haven’t missed my country. Please do enjoy on my behalf as well, Brent. Pow!👊🏻❤
The thing i loved about her that she was very much within herself even when the richshaw puller trying to scam. Mad respect from Mohammadpur,Dhaka. Brent love ur vlogs.
Rickshaw puller didn't try to scam her. She was humbly requesting the riskshaw puller to settle down with the money she's paying him because she has a guest and any arguments wouldn't look good. HOWEVER The riskshaw puller said " I don't really care if you have a foreigner as a guest. You give me fair money." The riskshaw puller was asking for 100 BDT which is about 1 USD. The riskshaw puller ain't wrong either. The problem here is, the lady forget fix the fare before riding riskshaw. There's no scam here.
Raisa is such a sweet girl. She is so patient with the rickshaw driver, even though she is a local and knows the fare the driver still decided not to budge! this is why we should not over pay them in tips because the expectation is so high from foreigners at times. Got to give it to Raisa for being so chilled❤
Dude you just win our hearts ! You're an exotic foreign blogger I've ever seen who came here in our Bangladesh! Very much friendly you're especially on Eid days... Please do come again ✨
Man, you are lucky to have that pretty girl who speaks English and pays for the food even though she does not have enough... There`s no free lunch in America, you know every penny counts. I think she was born and bred in a progressive family. Want to see you take her to a nice dinner as a treat.
Amra fruit is available in Jackson Heights, NYC, I guess they grow in Florida. Many of the fruits and vegetables that were not available back in the late 80s in New York now seem plentiful, at least in New York. Enterprising Bangladeshis have figured out that Florida weather is similar in many ways to the weather in Bangladesh. I have had Jam fruit (Java plum), Jamrul (rose apple), and other fruits that would be considered exotic. Just glad to have a taste of home right here in NYC.
Yes, everything grows in Florida and we get that in NYC. Its pretty amazing, from kochur loti, to shapla, to all the veggies that we used to get in BD. I still miss proper potol though. But its now much much better than the early 90's.
I love your videos. My exams are ongoing, but whenever you upload a new video, I just dig into it. Mad respect to you. Even though I'm a Bangladeshi, I can not stay so positive in the streets, so much stuff that upsets me. But you are so energetic all the time, and it gives me hope that one day, Bangladesh will be visited by many foreigners. ❤
To ride a rickshaw in Dhaka (actually in the whole country) at first you have to make sure you have fixed the fare according to the location you want to go. Otherwise the rickshaw-pullers will ask you to pay much more than the fair amount. Have a great time in Bangladesh
Finally. Finally someone who speaks proper English here! The first one in probably a hundred vlogs I've seen shot in Bangladesh. Mad respect to Raisa for being a proper companion to Brent. You're such a wonderful person! Brent, we'll miss you making videos here, buddy. Come back soon!
