My health decided to take it's own journey (quite a bumpy one) so I've been off a bike for many years. Here in the west the promotion of ridiculously large bikes is all the fashion. My experience has been that going fast you miss all the best details of the land you pass by. "Light-weight" to my mind is the key, so a single cylinder just big enough to keep up with the flow of traffic is enough. It seems to me that you have a similar opinion. 👍
It looks like a beautiful landscape. Questions.... Is it expensive to hire a bike? Do you bring your own helmet etc.? Do you need to plan a route and pre-book accommodation? What about road signs etc, road travel laws and regulations? I hope my questions are clear enough.
Thought you might enjoy this from Rest Day Rider - Santa Baby, Slip something Bike related under the tree, for me ! Would love to see a Christmas Day Ride 🎅 You are NOT wasting your time. Remember no matter simple your rides are they are adventures we could never dream of without you. Thank you for another beautiful adventure. HA! I just watched it twice in a row as I sometimes do with your videos and this time I noticed my name. I am honored sir.
Nice and short video! I would like to know how much it costs to rent a bike? If you need a motorcycle license or is a normal car driver license enough? How long time did you spend on the trip and what accommodation did you use? What was your route? Keep up the good work!
It has been a long time. Miss your videos. Hope you and your wife are doing well. I am getting ready to watch SpaceX launch another Starship. Be well my friend.
Dear Roger! Would like to see that event one day. I’m okay thanks for asking. I film footage almost everyday recently. But I’m in a creative constipation in terms of editing. The next publication of my video for me would be almost the same in importance and timing frequency as SpaceX launch. Haha. Have a good time there!
@MotorcyclistDiaries That was a real LOL. I actually have one Hopefully coming out Saturday that I had someone else edit and would love your Honest opinion in the comments. Glad you are both doing well. I thought of you because I am adding Korean subtitle translations to my videos. Let me know how accurate they are, although I couldn't do anything about it anyway. Best to you both.
@MeAndMyRoyalEnfield Roger, my Korean is very far from acceptable, even though I live here for more than 12 years I didn’t have much progress in learning it. That’s a real shame for me. But I would like to watch your video.
@@MotorcyclistDiaries Here is the video I was talking about and it's not doing well. I was thinking with someone else editing it might do better. "Willow City Loop Texas" Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. This one was my last one just for fun and is doing better. "Thousand Islands Camping Meal - Thanks Bill and Debbie".
Hello. i see ur video about how to register bike in South Korea, im a international student in South Korea now. I have passion about motorcycle So i want to send my motorcyle from Viet Nam to South Korea, do you know which paper work i have to prepare to declare for customs and how can i get these documents 1 document of transferring ownership rights 2 deregistration document I hope u can see this comment THANK YOU and enjoy your trip in VIETNAM
Hi! Unfortunately I've never gone through motorcycle customs declaration in South Korea, and my Korean is quite pathetic to find information in Korean blogs. But you can go to ROK riders Facebook page and ask people there, most of them are foreigners and probably could help. These documents are blanks for you can find them at Vehicle Registration Office - 차량등록사무소. You probably can download them in advance just paste in the name of the document in Korean and download from source you like. 자동차양도증면서 - document of transferring ownership rights 이륜자동차 사용폐지증명서 - deregistration document
Ah I did a 3 week trip on a scooter trough Vietnam. It was my best vacation ever!
Amen to that!
Vietnam is on the bucket list of rides
I will watch anything you put out, all your videos are good. Cheers, Rob.
Hey Vladimir!😀 realy enjoyed your scooter trips! would like to see more of it! in times of GS big bikes, i think "less is more!" 😉
I did this ride in 2019, one of the bsst things I've ever done. You can't beat small bikes for seeing the world!
Can't agree more! Absolutely amazing thing to do, and I saved money just traveling in Vietnam than living in Korea at home, haha))
Wow, looks like a fantastic journey! Thanks for sharing.
