Thats a great start to the hunt Dan, you hit that spot with perfect timing as its gone very dirty since the east winds have hit, looking forward to the next vid.
Cheers Bob. I'm sure it'll settle down again soon? Was going to message you at some point this week to ask if that lake is drained yet or not? Hope not. would like a Bass
@@LRFandHRF recon will be a week or two to clear, yes its drained but does fill on a higher tide, not sure about the bass tho, if you go gissa shout ill come and join you.
Have friends in Brixham and this year I’ve taken LRF kit down & we fished as a family - watching this video I was mentally ticking off the marks we’ve fished and those I need to have a go at. Thanks for the videos
You're welcome. Will be going down again next week so hopefully catch enough to make a video. I have a whole playlist of Brixham on my other channel, link below. The newer ones are better, but the older ones may be worth a watch still? ruclips.net/video/QnmgDb7owrI/видео.html
@@LRFandHRF Yeah just found it. And your RUclips. I’m subscribed to both. I’m a trout fisherman but trying this during the close season. Why did I never try this before??? It’s awesome.
Funny you should say that. I was a trout fisherman (search Fishing Around Budleigh on RUclips) but when I found LRF I haven't gone back. I have a playlist of trout and on of LRF fishing on my old channel youtube.com/@FishingAroundBudleigh?si=Vzw5tyxe--SVRM6f
@@LRFandHRF Thanks Dan, I hope you're right 😃 but the south coast isn't blessed with the variety of species available in the west country but, dammit, I shall try my best 👍🐟
Great start bud. I think I'll be joining this for 23/24. I'm a total beginner but looking forward to LRF fishing. Could you break down your gear for us. Rod, reel, lie, leader, lure and rig etc please? TIA
Another fantastic fishing trip, thanks for sharing it with the rest of the angling world. I learned a ton about ultralight fishing from your videos. A big thank you! Sorry for the stupid technical question: what kind of Gulp Isome are you using exactly? There's an almost unmanageable selection of this stuff, and I can't afford it all without selling a kidney. And which specific model in the Jig Para series is your go-to? Thank you very much!
Cracking session/video and a great start to the comp 👏
Thanks. Tally has gone up a bit since this one. Three other Episodes are live too.
Learning to identify lots of unfamiliar species thanks to your content.
That's good to hear. Glad its helping

Good vid, very inspirational , good luck in the comp.
Thanks Gavin. The sky's the limit! You only get out what you put in is my thought. Good luck to you too. Enjoy it

@@LRFandHRF spent a lot of time going through you and Devon Lerfer put up about Brixham before our first trip down and it helped massively

Great video mate. Really enjoyed it.
Thanks mate. That'll be you in December. Plus a few extras. You'll be seen in the Episode 2 😉
@@LRFandHRF Hopedully mate. Looking forward to seeing your next one.

I’m loving these videos. Brilliant! Spurring me on to try more LRF
Thank foe the comments today. Have you just found my channel? If so don't forget to sub. Loads more to come. Go out and lerf away. It's the best!

Welcome
Excellent video Dan but yer hands are inbits mate 🤣
Thanks. Yeah. Lipping a mackerel can do that to ya haha. Fishing every day in freezing temperatures does help either
Brilliant video and a great start to the winter league, well done Dan. My first day was entirely Black Goby but, at least, they got me started.
Thank you Alan and we'll done. They all count. Slowly pick them off one by one and I'm sure you'll have a massive tally by the end of winter
