Were you at the Surfside Jetty Monday? I thought I saw you and Christian there. You stopped and picked up some plastic trash near me. I had caught some nice Sheepshead and sand trout but only one keeper Spec which I had for dinner last night!
I keep 3 rods in the kayak when in the marsh. One of those is always set up with a vudu shrimp and small cigar shape popping cork. Definitely one of my confidence baits and ideal for our stained water.
Great video! Early this year I think I saw you guys out in Hitchcock. I was fishing the intersection and you guys went right by on the microskiff. I thought to myself “heck yeah!! If Mark is out here this spot must be good!!” A few hours later and 2 well undersized flounder proved that to be wrong. Tight lines fellas, always enjoy your videos
Sheepherder 12" you takes bro 👌👌👌😍
Have you looked into powering your cameras with a battery bank? It will reduce the battery swaps. Another great video and tight lines!!
I've used them before, it's a hassle dealing with external wires. Thanks though!
@@MDLRFishing yes I know the feeling!
That fish is silver perch. Jetty has been ridiculously slow 😑.
it's been very though bro.
Silver perch at the end brotha

LOL it's so funny how we had the same experience.😂😂😂
They were trying my patience 😂
Thanks for taking the pics with us yesterday we ended up catching a lot after we left the jetty tight rods bro.
Great meeting y'all!
How do you put the line through those corks??
I'm using mono.
what size treble hook
I think it was a size 14.
@@MDLRFishing I believe that is the size. It is small. Will try that and #8 that another fisherman recommended
No Jacks yet?

Where is this jetty at?
I have my best success with 1/0-2/0 live bait J style hooks on Sheepers. Circle hooks are hard for me as well with sheeps.
They had to of been the absolute worst thing we could’ve used. 😂
@@MDLRFishing this is what I’ve used before for Sheepers. ruclips.net/video/4o0FpSvHc-k/видео.html
Really wish we had live shrimp sold here, would be killer! Watching this while waiting to do a night ops for trout
Slay em!

👍
Awesome video guys. Don't forget to apply some ProCure on that tail end of that Voodoo Shrimp.
Good call!
My wife was ready to slap me when I told her I wanted a roasted chicken instead of whatever she was making for dinner...
😂🙌
I love seeing familiar places in your videos, makes me want to be there on vacation already lol 😂
👍

LIVE Shrimp never fails. Any day catching fish is a good day.
We include 6 shrimp tails in our packs. Just sayin'.... ;)
Have had great luck with those under a popping cork, may also want to try the Marker 54 soft and hard shrimp lures.
Good stuff
The guys using the vudu shrimp use popping corks
👍
Hooray for the shrimp that got a free pass.😂
😂😂😂😂
Vodu is a great bait. I tried those in muddy water, caught some sandtrout
👍
Yet to make it out there
Would you use curado mgl for saltwater?
I’d use any reel in the salt. Just don’t dunk it in the water.
Thanks bro! Everyone kept saying the mgl spool is no good for salt but I feel better now appreciate your knowledge

most definitely is!
