Pharita, Ahyeon, Chiquita. For me, these 3 are the most recognizable. Pharita has a sweet emotional voice and an elegant look. Her voice resembles Rose's. Ahyoen has a unique charming voice and look. She's the most talented and has something interesting. Chiquita has cute look offstage but she has the strongest stage appearance. She's sincere, confident, and cheerful. She always catches everyone's eye.
I think it's your first time watching training process behind debuting like this. Trainees go through much harsher evaluation system. They have to face criticism and negative opinions to work on themselves better. These mentors are educated in their own fields are watching these girls in front of their eyes grow we are just being shown snippets of their preparations behind we can't evaluate better. The pressure and these hardships will make them strong minded with well defined skills to be presented in front of the public whose gonna judge their each and every move after debut.
The girls will eventually sing and perform in front of millions of people. This type of method by producers and ceos to casually barge in on practices by trainees is also some sort of test to measure how prepared and ready they are for random distractions and if they will easily break from pressure. Plus YHS is very hands on in monitoring the progress of his trainees/artists. We've seen it in Who Is Next, Mix & Match and YG Treasure Box. He ain't perfect but he surely get the job done. :)
YG's presence is not a bad thing tho. It will helps them to improve their confidence and overcome the pressure they felt. It is only YG, if they can't overcome it how they will perform infront of many people? That's more pressuring than performing infront of YG. The presence of YG in practice and evaluation is one of the reasons why Blackpink got overwelming confidence performing on stage.
Can't agree more! It's one of a kind mental practice as well. Once debut they will not only perform in front of the eyes from ppl who love them, there are lots of eyes and medias to judge and criticize you - they need to have experienced it before too late!

Considering rap-line Ruka and Asa, they are both so good for either English and Korean lyrics, and also in Japanese if there's any chance to show. It mifght be the video editing that shows less in their roles. Apart from how good the are in dance performance they still actually can sing well, too. Ruka usually reveals her big sister role and care junior members so naturally. Chiquita is cute as always. So much energy, bright smile and laugh a lot. She always bring fresh spirit into the team. Since the introduction video has been released, does anyone count how many funny meemes could have been created from her! And I hope one day, she can do rapping as well... ha ha

I think YG knows very well they feel pressure when he shows up. I think he wants them to get used to that feeling, because when they are performing at the evaluation, the pressure will be waaaaaaay higher. He doesn't want them to feel pressured just for the sake of it, but rather get used to performing in a high pressure environment, because that's whats waiting for them. A lot of excitement, sure, but also A LOT of pressure when it comes to concerts etc.
Bruh! I think this is your first time watching such kind of kpop content but FYI this is nothing compared to any other survival shows...I mean they choose this as their career path and they need to be on top notch to survive, right from the day they debut they eventually have to face hundreds of reporters who are waiting for their mistakes just to throw hate at YG and the girls... So, what YG is doing is very much needed to survive in this kpop industry, he obviously knows they will be nervous if he showed up but they need to overcome that in order to be successful... you can't just run a company hiding in the corner behind the scene just bcoz you know your employees will get nervous if you go all out on them...
I really like Chiquita, Ahyeon and Rora.. i think that they will debut...but i must said that i dont like haram, i think she is not prepare or something..i dont know..but if debut as 7ist totally super..they are very talented and different
@Jacob Cruz i dont know completely but i feel a little difference compared to the others. In my opinion doesn't have a strong presence and sometimes when she sings i feel she's very nervous..but like i said...compare to the others..but if she debut...super!!
