I’ve had days like that. Just not with paint. But good golly, Miss Molly! Paint in your hair, on your hands, feet, and shirts, and now jeans. Getting messy is fun! 😁
Always fun, always remarkable, always new tips! Thanks, Molly, for bringing us in for your successes and your challenges that turn into successes!! Be well.❤️
You make me smile. I had a day like yours. I spilled orange paint everywhere and all into my other colours of paint. Not great. I spent so much time cleaning everywhere, that I dismayed but I painted anyway. I love your painting. Thank you for sharing.
A poem I learned very long ago: "Laugh and the world laughs with you. Weep and you weep alone for the sad old earth must borrow your mirth but has trouble enough of its own." When we learn to laugh at ourselves we'll always be amused and avoid negativity. I love your work and the fact you think out loud. Thinking out loud helps me make decisions, too. It was amazing how far that relatively small amount of paint stretched out.
No matter what Molly you have a captive audience. We are there for ALL of your successes and those you warn us about ahead of time, that we think are so beautiful. We want to see the human side of Molly which means an occasional fall, that is where we learn the most. 🙏🏼💗🍀
I love that you share your experiences, good and bad, with creating your art. And I admire your positivity and perseverance! I admit to giving up too easily. Keep on with your artistry and your message. You do you so well!!
Thanks for sharing the realities of creating art. So glad you had a successful show with your newer paintings. The colors and the pearl effects were great to see in your work. Thanks for sharing this with us. 😁🌴
Yes I have a video of my phone falling down off the tripod into my paint during my video. I still put my video up to show anything can go crazy on ya. But my studio is rather small for large canvases let alone trying to make a video. I'll share the link but I had me swearing when that happen.
If that had been me after that spill of the white paint I would’ve quit for the day and started over the next day. I commend you for being persistent and continuing despite the disasters.
I thought I was the only one who got paint on her arms! I am such a messy painter, it’s all over me, my hair, my apron…I don’t blow with a straw, I once ended up with paint on my lips… insane! Kanella wears an iWatch and jewelry when she paints, she’s so calm, she is so organized… Molly, I am definitely more like you, and I’m glad you commented about those paintings you are not crazy about because I too come back to them in a couple of weeks with fresh eyes and new ideas for embellishments. Thank you for your time and sharing your talent.
Molly - I started pouring in 2019. Was newly retired and bored. I cannot draw but fell in love with pouring. I started watching you and followed you as well as MelyD, and several others. The list has grown to artists you frequently mention. I noticed tonight after watching some of your older videos that as your confidence has grown over the last couple years so has your presence on camera. Your art is a staple for me to watch. I have bad days where everything I try gets scraped then some days where I seem to get maybe two out of three keepers. Anyway just wanted to give you a shout out as you and Mina, MelyD, Sarah, Dwight, and others I could go on. Thanks to all if you for teaching your craft and making awesome art! Keep Painting!
Thank you, Molly. I've been watching videos almost nonstop since the war began. It's not helping anyone, but it's keeping me sane. You've grown as artists. Art, like fluid art and music, bring us closer together. I loved your pour today - I bet we've all spilled fully layered cups, or mixed batches of paint - and we can empathize! Also, thank you for linking the artist. I've found most of the artists I watch through the links you all post. The daisy chainmail that is the Internet, I call it.
Molly, you are just such a beautiful person, thank you for sharing your talent with us but also your wonderful personality. Your videos bring joy and beauty into the world and I always enjoy them a lot ! ☺🌺
