Leaving yesterdays incident and match aside, IMO hes not a T20 player. He plays a very conservative brand of cricket. He plays as if the whole team is dependent on him. His strike rate is pretty poor. Worse than Virat. He cannot handle pressure on the field and has a tendency to get bogged down, which puts pressure on the other batsmen. He is a dull guy, who is a good batsman (not great), but not captain material. Because of our superstar culture he is hyped on tv a lot. Hes not a guy capable of winning trophies. He is also injury prone. I am not a tribalistic guy, but we need to move on from seniors like Virat, Rohit and Rahul. Everyone has their time in cricket. These guys carry too much baggage, and media hypes them a lot. The superstar culture around the Indian team has to change. We see the Indian team as a set of superstars, not a team. In this WC we should have fielded a young 11 and started afresh. We will not win this WC. We will reach Super 8. After that I dont know. Eng, Aus, WI arent afraid to take risks and are dynamic. I see us as risk averse.
