      If you’re talking about the eight notes, my director said to play them a bit longer to show off the tone, if you’re talking about something else, that’s just my mistake.

      @@barnatan1278 I would recommend talking to your private lesson teacher about it because I feel like lengthening the staccato completely ruin the feel of the piece, and if you don't trust me my teacher said better to be too short then too long.

      ⁠​⁠@@barnatan1278the staccato markings only. you can do the long eighth notes where its not marked staccato. this etude should be having the bouncy or jumpy feeling

      But they should all be the same length. I get that it’s accented but that just means I need to use more air at the start.
