I'm super sketch about inline oil regulators. I've burned up quite a few turbos using them. I just use restrictors exclusively now directly off my oil feed line on the oil cooler. It comes straight out of the filter already🤷♂️ Those tiny little inline oil reg/filters seem to clog up SUPER fast. Like... stupid fast. I'm sure his truck isn't a daily like all my cars are, but prob should grab a box full of those and swap em every oil change. Semi cheap insurance. Alot cheaper than a new turbo or a rebuilt CHRA and balance + the time all that takes.
