Here is a review of the WORX cordless screwdriver I got from Banggood. This is a good screwdriver for the money and one thing I forgot to mention in the video is that this has a metal body where most other cordless screwdrivers are ABS. So if you drop this puppy there is less chance of it breaking or cracking. This is one reason why this one is a bit more expensive than other units on the market.
Picked one of these up today from Sam's Club for 20 bux! Gonna use it for my new pc build. Thanks for the awesome review I'm about to be doing some drill work and good to know it can get some normal screws in.
i've bought a "FERM" 4V cordless screwdriver, and it looks exactly like the one you have demonstrated here. The same battery, same square metal housing with rubber around it (albeit blue color), same torque settings, just the ferm version has 4 LED lights, and seems like an even better buy (18.50, but doesn't come in a box, with additional bits, like yours does) and i bought a ELLIX bit box, with over 50 different bits for like 7 usd, and i'm loving it, i wanted to see an in depth review of mine, but i couldn't find any item like it, and this one is basically the same thing, just rebranded. amazing video, getting a sub from me
Just back into the UK from a trip to Hong Kong. Cruising the fantastic tool shops there, I bought by the successor WORX 242 with 30 bits on chance. At HK$270 (£27), it was low risk! It's only released in Asian markets so far, but looks very good. Not yet tried it for real, but I'm sure its a good'un. WORX design and make excellent tools in my experience.
I ordered Bosch go first (₹4300), cancel and ordered worx (₹3199), cancel and ordered Deli (₹1600). Exactly the same as worx. And Bosch doesn't have ready backward button. It has a switch. Which is too dumb. They just came up with led light. So nope. Chinese are way ahead. Update - cancelled Deli and ordered Bosch go 3...paid in full this time. Not going to cancel this for sure...lol It's exactly what's wrong with me...I order stuff and cancel stuff a 100 times before I can decide... FYI - going with the Bosch because I feel like the casing is much nicer and I do not like the finish and colour on cheaper models...and metal gears of Bosch as compared to no info on the other two anywhere including the manufacturer's website and no response to the email and web inquiry...and Bosch has parts available in case if I needed a spare... FYI 2 - my deebot floor vacuum broke and I am waiting to replace it's left wheel assembly as soon as I receive this screwdriver...I am excited...got both wheels sent to me without a service man coming home...that thing is torn apart a few days ago part by part...will put it together tomorrow probably So looooooooooooong..... I mean the comment 😂
It has more torque than I expected and it replaced the awful Dewalt gyroscope screwdriver that was really annoying. For bigger jobs, I have both Milwaukee m12 and Bosch 12v drivers. Mostly I use it on RC cars and radio.
I find this screwdriver a better design than all the other brands, absolutely. Getting one. The others are either too long, or the trigger is too far to the end not letting you get a good grip.
Great review. Thank you for not playing annoying music in the background like those other annoying channels that copy corporations by playing music in the background to convince you to buy their garbage.
Thanks for the video. I would have like to see how many screws it can drive before running out of power. Because of its small form, the battery would be small and may not hold a long charge.
You did a very good job in your video but I do have a question you said the torque settings were low high and Max what's the difference between high and Max....wouldnt High be medium? Hope you can explain.
Thanks... I do unboxing videos or review videos about once a week. Check out my channel page and see if there are any other products you may be interested in.
The two aren't really comparable since the only advantage worx has over your impact is it's convenient size (useful in cramp spaces, less bulk and weight to carry, pocket size so ya always have a power tool on hand). Your M12 is much more powerful and serves way more purpose than this worx model. I use both (M12 tools + enertwist electric screwdriver) for different purposes, the electric screwdriver mainly for convenience like I mentioned above but I also work in the trades and can't work without real power tools.
I recently bought the WEN 4V Max Lithium Ion Rechargeable Cordless Electric Screwdriver and Flashlight with Carrying Case and 40+ Accessories, $22.62 it now lists at Lowe's for $26.61 I used it to assemble The General 4 drawer tool chest from Harbor Freight and it performed just fine. What proved to be an advantage was the ability to swivel from a straight driver to a gun configuration. besides the light on the tip, there's a flashlight built into the butt of the handle. It's a keeper! I had that same B&D driver 20-some years ago, it remained a good driver in spite of the batteries going out long after I bought it.
I love your videos. Very detailed and good explanations. Can you still get this with the case and where? Also, did you ever do that review on the code scanner?
Thanks Randy. I got this from Bangood, and they should still have it available. If not you can try on Amazon. I already did the review of the code scanner and many more since then. Go check out the playlist I have of car scanners on my channel page. I put them all into that playlist.
@@ModernDIYProjects thanks for the reply. Bangood was out of stock and Amazon didn’t list it with the case. 🤷🏻♂️ I will check out your playlist on scanners. Do you have a favorite that also does diesels?
@@randyc2525 All the scanners that I have tested all work on any OBD2 system. Consumer grade diesels will also have an ODB2 system, but commercial trucks (Peterbuilt, Caterpillar) will probably be different. All the scanners I have tested are good, but all have their quirks. The one I like best is probably the Xtool D7 because it is the smallest and fastest. It connects and reads everything really fast and has lots of features.
@@1982craigyboy They are both good products but I have not tested the Skil. I don't think you can go wrong with either choice. This one works fine but it can break your wrist since it doesn't know when to stop twisting when you get to the end.
I was looking at this for a present and it would be used for building computers primarily. Does that allow the bits to hold small screws without dropping them?
@@kpatt2006generallly it’s safe to use a screwdriver with magnetic bits because the level of magnetism isn’t high enough to damage anything, but ofc always be cautious
It doesn't have an ON or OFF button. It works when you press the button and then doesn't work when you don't. So it is literally OFF all the time unless you are pressing the button to turn it.

Same… but for a new espresso machine. I’m between the Gaggia Pro, Flair 58, and Profitec Go.

The Skil driver has an even better, circular trigger position. But in all other aspects, including the packaging, Worx is better.

Does this auto stop after the tightening???is there any feature of auto break like in Bosch go 2?
I have the Bauer version which I think goes on sale for $15. It doesn’t have the different torque settings though.
Thank you! I'm sold... you should do more unboxing!

In other words the torque range in the manual says 22 to 44-in pounds which equals 2.5 to 5 nm I'm not seeing anything about 8 nm. Can you enlighten?
I read that you can apply upto 8nm in manual mode. More torque than that will damage the device. The device itself can apply a max of 5nm

How did this thing hold up 2 years later ?

Just bought one. Don’t limp wrist it. Little sucker actually has enough power to twist your wrist. That was on the first torque setting also. Haha
Yes it does. It wants to keep going even after you reach full tightening.
@@ModernDIYProjects I love it though. I can’t believe I never owned something like it until now. Thanks
can you compare with workpro?what would your advice be?
I haven't used that brand yet so I would have to get one before I could give you any advice on that.

if the battery is totally exhausted, and not rechargeable, are the batteries replaceable?
If you open it up and have a little know how, sure you can do that. It probably just uses an 18650 battery.
How did this held up?
So far so good, still going.
Which is tge cheap cordless screwdriver
First screw seemed to be pre drilled. The second one looked legit.
Agree
Today got the blue one from Action for 10 dollars. Great
With charging, can I use USB-C to C instead of USB-A to C?
Sure, it does not matter. As long as the plug in side is USB-C the other side does not matter.
How often does it require charging?
Depends how much you use it. It is not s static number.
Looks identical to Denali Amazon product with highest rating
is it suitable for assembly production line
For assembly line work I'm sure you can find better units that can take much greater abuse and work longer hours. This is more oriented to the DIYer.
Can i charge this 4V screwdriver with 5V mobile charger. The name plate shows 4V.
You probably can. One volt over should not cause any damage. The manufacturer would probably say Not to do that.
@@ModernDIYProjects Thanks
Are the bits magnetic.
Not on this unit.
Can I charge it with a normal cp charger?
I don't see why not.
Ok, at first I thought there's specific charger for this. 😅
@@ModernDIYProjects how about you sir, do you charge it with a normal phone charger?
It charges with a normal USB charger which is included. I don't see why you would need anything else.
I believe id choose a Milwaukee m12 over that anyday
This is not meant to compete with a Milwaukee level product. This is more of a Black & Decker / Harbor Freight level.
The bit you're using is a ''bit'' worn 7:12 😉
🤣 🤣 🤣
Just got this screwdriver at Lowes for $25 😁
Same bro I love to build pc and furniture. So it would perfect for me and I love it

Does this one have a magnetic tips?
Yes it does.
