great review, great ending!!
U r the best reviewer u are amazing keep up the good work
Great review. Ty
lovely review, thank you :)
Thanks. Good review
Really like your reviews. Keep it up dude!
Thank you so much!
Can u make a comparison vid of this and the AOC 27g2? Love the vids!!
Great review. I was trying to get the cheaper Mobiuz EX25 monitor but its sold out everywhere. This 27" seems to be available though, so i think i'll get it. I have an Xbox Series S, so it being a 1080p monitor is fine for that.
Great review. You were on a friend of mine's podcast recently and he pointed me in your direction because I'm looking to buy a monitor for the Xbox Series X. I'm very glad that he did because your stuff is informative, to the point, and well done. Even after watching a few of your videos, I'm still as lost as ever about what to get to replace my 1080p Samsung TV as my primary console gaming screen lol
Thanks for the comment! Both Microsoft and Sony have been tight-lipped on resolution and refresh rate support. It makes it all the more difficult to decide what monitor you get. There are many things to consider, and many variables are unknown. Look for a video soon explaining this in more detail!
This is actually kind of more than decent review. Nice work!
Thanks!
Checked out your video and Hardware Unboxed. Great review. Decided on this over the AOC 27G2. First 144hz display. Moving my 75hz IPS to become my new secondary display. No more 60hz in my setup now ✌🏼
Thanks! The Hardware Unboxed review was top notch and covered things I don’t currently have the tools to cover. Both Steve and Tim are awesome guys. It’s an honor being mentioned in the same comment as them.
Nice Review Subbed
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it!
I care my friend! Great review as always.
Thanks man! I appreciate that.
@@HomeTheaterGamer hey, does this monitor support freesync via hdmi? Really interested to know whether it'll have this feature, as plan on buying it for the series s
Well he convinced me to get it
Hi Brad. Great review. Enjoyed this one as much as the 27G2 videos. I have a question about 27" 1080p in general. I'm still uncertain about the 27G2 , I have been leaning towards the 24G2 because of reports about the 1080p resolution looking not as sharp on a 27" as on a 24" because of the higher PPI on 24"s. I want to use my new monitor for general work, graphic design and some light gaming. In your opinion, does the slightly higher PPI on a 24" make that much of a clarity difference as opposed to a 27" ? Thanks again and nice video.
Thanks for the comment! Honestly, the sharpness and clarity difference between the two isn’t major enough for me personally to consider 24 inches to be viable long term, unless desk space is a concern. Otherwise I’d go 27 inches every time. We’re only talking a difference of around 10 PPI here (82ppi for 27 and 92 ppi for 24) which isn’t a massive difference. Will the 24 look ever so slightly sharper than the 27? Yes, but not enough in my opinion. The bigger screen will benefit you more for graphic design, creating documents and gaming. In motion, you won’t be able to tell the difference either.
Bottom line is, I’d always go with 27 inches unless I don’t have the space for it.
Benq has an 24.5 inch model too.
@@HomeTheaterGamer 24 inch is a better option for me I feel it's better then the 27 but great review nonetheless.
I managed to get this version substantially cheaper than the smaller version, let me say it's disgustingly good value if you find a bargain.
Now THAT'S how you review a monitor!
Well made video...Does this monitor have a power brick or internal PSU?
The power supply is internal. No outside power brick to worry about!
Your analysis are excellent as always, Can you please tell me that if this monitor supports 1080p hdr gaming or do i need to be in 4k resolution???
You can absolutely get HDR at 1080p on a PC or PS4/PS4 Pro. It's a no go on the XBOX One X though as that (ridiculously) requires you to output 4K.
@@HomeTheaterGamer Hello, great review, it’s a nice monitor. Perhaps you could help me with my dilemma. I’m torn between getting the monitor benq Ex2510 or the benq xl2411k. My purpose for the monitor is to play cod only. I want the best advantage I could get with the minimal input lag. I seen reports the Benq xl2411k(little brother to xl2546k) has a 3.2ms input lag perhaps due to its TN panel however it has less colors fidelity. The EX2510 reports says it has an 4ms input lag but with slight better colors. My question is would that input lag difference of (0.8Ms)actually matter in gameplay? Or the input is just too minimal to affect my gameplay and the human eye? Will be using the ps5 Thanks
Great video as always!. Is it true this monitor accept 4k signal from PS5 and downscale it to 1080p making image looks like a better 1080p? I remember this happens in you video of the EX2780q
It can accept a 4K signal. I noticed this when I did my updated PS5 monitor video and pointed it out. It looks quite a bit sharper as well when downsampled.
@@HomeTheaterGamer Thanks for the response!
@@HomeTheaterGamer One more thing, since this is 1080 monitor at 27" do text or images in general loose any sharpness comparted to an 25" inch 1080 monitor?
Since you have used both the EX2710 and the 27G2U, which one do you prefer out of the two? AOC also has the 27G2AE, any idea if its any different to the 27G2U? Cheers
Would you recommend this for ps4/ps5 gaming or can you recommend me something better? Thanks
How's the backlight bleed on this monitor ? I think it's a great monitor I want to get it but I am concerned about backlight bleed.
How would you rate this compared to the AOC 27G2? regardless of the HDR that is :)
How does the audio get from the PC to the display? 3.5mm cable?
Would you recommend this for the ps5?
I ordered the 25 inches version of the Mobiuz today , cant wait to try it out!!! And I do care about you btw ;)
@Adineo Loving it so far . There is a little backlight bleed on dark scenes tough but colors are amazing , brightness is excellent too. I dont use HDR cause I did not find a setting that works on everything (little bit lazy here) Do keep in mind that I come from a 10 years old TN screen to this. Also , not a single dead pixel, which is a big relief! Quality /price ratio really cant be beaten on this screen (got it for 300$ CAD, ~ 239$ USD)
@Adineo I'm sure you cant find anything better at this price point. It is almost as if I upgraded my graphic card. I didn't want to go to 1440p cause I think my GTX 1060 wouldn't like it and I think I made the right choice. Hope you'll like it as much as I do!
@Adineo You're welcome!
@Adineo Hi! Please if you can reply to my comment I would appreciate it a lot. I just bought the 27“, 1080p version of this monitor but i'm afraid it feels a little bit pixelated. It is true for you too? Thanks.
@Adineo Ok, thank you!
Will it be good for the Xbox series S?
Great review, I'm getting one of those (IT'S FOR 500 DOLLARS IN SAUDI ARABIA!!!) :"(
Did you buy it?
Hello! I’m looking for a monitor only for the switch (switch looks like crap on my 55 inch) will the switch games look good on this monitor? or should I get a 1440p monitor?
I heard it has ELMB sync so does it or not
I'm looking to buy either EW2780 or EX2710. Both seem to have 2.5W speakers and Trevolo sound sytem but your reviews on both products in terms of sound quality are different. Do you think EX2710 has a better sound quality??
what did yuh purchased and hows ur experience
24.5inch model is going for $265 in my country.
ok THIS is gonna be the monitor for my 3060ti/5600x build.
Did you get it? Cause I'm thinking of getting it for my 3060 Ti / 5600x PC.
Will it be good on my PS4 SLIM?
Is the pixel density good enough for office work?
I'm buying this for gaming, but i'm also working from home.
aye mate how did that work out for you? I find myself in the same position right now
@@SanduTheMountainDweller I didn't buy it, I just stuck to my 60 hz dell monitor. Wish I could've helped more.
EX2710 or 27g2u for same price and why?
Can you get 144hz using hdmi 2.0 in this monitor and would you recommend for the ps5 or the Xbox series x.
I’m looking at getting this for the ps5, I’m not too fussed with 4K as I’d rather 1080 at 120. I’m just hoping someone does a review with them when they are out
@@mohamedrashid1658 then this is fine
sheldon collymore I’ve just ordered mine tonight so hopefully should be in soon
@@mohamedrashid1658 I'm positive you'll enjoy it. Probably more so when 60fps-120fps games are more available
sheldon collymore I can’t wait 😁 it should be in stock about a week, yeah can’t wait to try 120 when the games eventually come along
Hey Brad, what's the song at the end?
It's the song "Fix My Head" by Dissidence. It's on Epidemic Sound, but you can also find it on Spotify.
@@HomeTheaterGamer thank you!
Would this monitor be a perfect pair with the ps5?
is there some sort of universal remote app that I can download on my phone to control the monitor?? Pls let me know of any apps there are
There aren’t any. Most monitors can’t be controlled via an app.
what about an other model of benq named BenQ EX2780Q because 1080p is overkill for 3000 series graphic cards
If open netflix on pc it will pop up hdr or not?
I’ve never been able to get Netflix in HDR to function properly on Windows. It either just doesn’t work or looks terrible.
You think this would be good for an Xbox series x?
It would be decent, but if you can afford it I’d go with a 1440p 144Hz monitor. You’ll be taking better advantage of the uptick in resolution with the Series X.
@@HomeTheaterGamer any recommendations?
pixels like bricks.... EX2510 please...
Anybody who has this monitor and can tell me if the text is crisp and clear? I want to buy this monitor but will be coming from a 1440p 27inch and I'm a bit worried it won't look sharp?
Did you take the gamble yet switching to this monitor? As I have the same question... Is the desktop clear enough for 8 hours of remote office work daily?
@@spaceknarf Hey man, no I didn't go for this one, i don't think I could get used to 1080p again, tried it at a friend's house and just felt like the crisp details and desktop real estate was missing. I'm gonna go for the Lg gl 850 , great monitor for console and pc. Hope this helps
@@drgunit893 thanks man, I agree it will probably suck going back from 1440p I'm coming from 24" 1080p so i could probably handle it. There's also an amazing deal here on the gl850 but the reported low contrast is holding me back on that one....
@@spaceknarf Yes, that is for sure one of its biggest disadvantages however it is one of the few monitors that can accept a 4k 60 signal from the ps5 and still do 1080p 120fps aswell (on the ps5) and it has pretty accurate colors and has a sleek design, on top of that its also one of the fastest IPS panels out there. The other option which is actually better if you're not going to be doing console gaming is the Dell S2721DGF as it has better performance and better contrast however it does not accept a 4k 60 signal from the PS5 and cant do 1080p 120 (Again for ps5).
Hope this lengthy comment helps you out with your choice.
Is this good for watching movies?
What is the price of this monitor?
$299 USD my friend.
I thought it was a 1ms gtg on the site 🤔
On BenQ’s site it’s mentioned and listed as 1ms MPRT/2ms GTG.
@@HomeTheaterGamer oh yeah sorry thanks did you notice a difference with 2ms and the 1080p 27 inch im trying to get this monitor so i found your video
25 inc is best
This or aoc 27g2
Depends on your budget. One is $210 and the other is $300. If you have $300, the EX2710 is a no brainer in my opinion.
How's the backlight bleed on this monitor ? I think it's a great monitor I want to get it but I am concerned about backlight bleed.
It's not off putting enough to mention tbh.
