TOUR WORKSHOP DIARIES: Mizuno at the 150th Open Championship

- Monday practice day at the 150th Open Championship / St Andrews. No microphones, a lot of wind, no scripts, but close-up with our 3 'Team Mizuno' players and Tour Rep Matt McIsaac. Some equipment tweaks for our 2 long drive machines - English youngster Marco Penge and PGA Tour winner Keith Mitchell. There was also a debut for the new Mizuno staff bag and a limited edition Mizuno Pro 221 in Blue IP - both available from September.
As a side note - have a look at the eventual winners bag. A pair of Mizuno Fli-Hi long irons in play for the week.

Feelings on the new Tour Bag and Blue IP 221's?
Tour bag is nicer than the previous edition. Blue 221 look stunning, but guess the finish would wear quickly like the T20s? Would seriously consider upgrading if the 225 and T22s were also in blue, for those that use a combo of 225/221/T22

Saw the bag in the flesh on Saturday was very nice. Laurie on the 4th tee was swinging well.
Bag and blades are both pretty sweet👍 I'd get it in the White with Blue accents, but I'll need it filled with the 225 instead of those blades if I'm going to be the one to play them. Any chance that finish is coming to that set ?

The Blue 221s look stunning but wouldn't knock my MP 20s out of the bag. I would love for the YORO Craft options to return one day, those were pretty sexy!

Of the three sponsored players - Keith and Marco both had a rough day Thursday. Although Keith recovered to only miss out by a shot. Marco is still very fresh and will learn from it. Laurie made the cut at 2 under. Other players were using Mizuno equipment - we can only show the sponsored players within our own videos.l
