I have been using Fabric for sometime but am just getting into event stream. Do you know a way to use event stream in a way similar to CDC, getting data from a source to lakehouse, and changing the actual data in lakehouse without any aggregations in real time using event stream, not going to KQL either?
You can land it in the Lakehouse and then query the JSON payload and create views on top of it. I need a few more details to know what your source is and what you’re looking to do
You can pause it although it is a bit tricky to find. There would be no compute when it is idle so there would be no “charge” when considering that as Fabric Capacity Units/Second

Can you stop the eventstream if it's idle or only delete. I assume costs even if idle? thx
