Really cool video. I learned a lot while fixing my door handle. Has most of the parts covered. I struggled in the dark so had to continue in the morning. In the video at min 7:02 there is a mention of the thing that attaches to the door locking system. Actually that part pushes the lock down to open the door. It's a simple fix provided you don't break any of the plastic tabs. Be patient and you can do it too. #DIYWEEKENDS

6:47 Did you manage to find the broken plastic and metal piece from the old door handle inside the door? I guess they should still be in there right? I'm thinking of gluing the old door handle back together if I can find the pieces. Or use epoxy putty to rebuild the broken plastic and reuse the metal piece. A useful video, thanks.
It was too far gone. And the replacement handle wasn't too expensive. I suppose it's possible to glue it back together. Good luck. Glad you found the video helpful.
Indeed it was! I was at a car wash and a older gentleman got his broken by the kids washing his car. I volunteered to grab one from the scrap yard for him since he told me it’s been eight months! I got a free shampoo on my interior thanks boss!

You have wasted my time and never taught how to fix the door handle from start to finish.
This video is crap....!! It doesn't show how to fix the handle, how do jump from " the screw dropped" to test if the door handle works.......??!!
