    1:24 mark on the video. You might want to rethink the way the restraint system is designed and being worn. The buckle should be worn snugly and low in the lap and not on the lower chest. If the restraint buckle is worn above the belly button and you are in an accident there is a very good chance that your body will slide out underneath the restraint system and you will break your neck when your chin is stopped by the buckle. This is why most restraint systems similar to this one have 5 points of attachment and not 4. The 5th point is anchored directly between your legs which prevents the buckle from rising and your body squirting out from underneath the restraints. If you don't make the system idiot proof your passengers will not figure it out on their own. I have 23 years as a test pilot.

    • @makerofthings
      @makerofthings Год назад +1

      It's been proven that waistline single-belted seats cause the most damage to an occupant during high velocity impacts and even provide more opportunities for spinal injury, particularly in the lower back.. the more surface area a restraint holds the more distribution an impact disperses evenly & thus minimizing damage to said occupants. Your pseudo science statement is patently incorrect & riddled with what appears to be low-brow imagination. Try to "squirt" a corrective action like deleting this brain dead comment.

    I love the idea of electrifying aviation and some companies can actually fly their prototypes with people on board, which I don't see happening here with this design for the next 10 years, which will be tricky because the investors will most like not be with Lilium for so long, switching to a company that sets more realistic goals.

  • @jonpetter8921

    I saw a video about the noise level of Lilium compared to Joby. The test in that video showed that Lilium made a little more noise while taking off/landing compared to Joby. That s because of the way the fan is designed. Still the noise is lower than for instance helicopter, but is relatively high that it potentially can prevent Lilium to be able to take off and land in central areas. While the noise-test in that video may not be 100% accurate, noise can be a potential concern for Lilium or any other e Vtol for that matter.

    This type of methodicism for the interior design is what makes an assurance that the affluent in society will flock to purchase their own Lilium jet. Even then, you'll *STILL* see the Joby bag holders crying and finger wagging like they are now.

      Is Lilium good for the zombie apocalypse though? I feel Joby would be good to chop up some heads with the tilting rotors, that is a massive advantage...

    Funny you guys are still wasting time on these endless cabin redesigns for a plane that can't fly more than 5 minutes.... Let me guess, next month you'll announce that you're changing the paint color and that it will cause the type certificate to be delayed another 2 years.
