So immensely proud of my fellow Aussie 🥰 that is her actual voice, no computer enhancements/distortions etc. She had been busking for years before she got her break & ‘Dance Monkey’ broke one of Australia’s biggest music records staying at number 1 on our ARIA charts for 24 weeks straight. Another amazing live song she did was her cover of ‘Forever Young’ on a Triple J segment called Like A Version which I would highly recommend for you 😁

Yeah, it's a clever play on her name, Toni. Her nickname is Tones, but when she tried to register her performer name, there were already a lot of "Tones". So she made it like a play on "Tones plus an i", to make it sound like a band name. Plus, it's just her music and herself, so it's probably a nod to that as well. Clever and kinda cute name :-)

Check out her live performance of Bad Child on Jimmy Fallon. It was during quarantine so it's just her and a keyboard. I prefer it to the studio version because you can really understand the pain behind the lyrics. It's an incredibly raw song. She actually denied some of her more personal songs were about her for a while because she was afraid to be too vulnerable.

Yeah man, I haven't seen that kind of crowd connection since Freddie Mercury. If the pandemic hadn't hit, I wouldn't have been surprised to see her connecting with a crowd 100x bigger in the past year or two. She's something special 💜

I think that I can hear just a touch of a nervous quiver to her voice, which is good. If it sounds too much like the studio version you don't know if they are just doing a lip sync.
