Gurpreet Singh-ji...Here is what I would like to share...
1. If sixth button is selected for Sa, then it is C# or C-sharp scale. Majority of the songs and interludes are played in C-scale, I mean the most popular geet based on Raaga. Otherwise, if they start from the fifth button, C-scale, it makes an easy crossover to consider upper keys as Komal and lower keys as Sudhdha.
2. C-scale consideration on your banjo leaves four keys to the left. That means your banjo is made in F-scale and its taars should be tuned into G scale. So, your banjo has Pancham of Mundra saptak in OPEN position.
3. If your banjo had five keys to the left after C-scale consideration of Sa, then your banjo is made in G-scale and for optimum performance, it should be tuned into C-scale. The tuning is generally done by the banjo maker, because many banjo users are novice and beginners. Advanced artists do not ask anyone to tune their banjos because they are going to tune each string based on their preference.
4. Plectrum...when striking from farther in towards us, DA is used in banjo terms. When you strike from closer to go farther(you used "OOperki taraf"), it is called RA. So, that is how its repeated....Da Da Da , or Ra Ra Ra or DaRa DaRa meaning both ways. This lingo will fit with most taals played by Tabla and Dholak players in a live program.....Dadra, Keharwa, Dadra Qawwali Theka, Rupak, Ektaal, Teentaal, Dhrut, Jhap Taal, and so on.

Harmonium can be played with both hands. But Banjo can not be played with RT hand because there is no such thing as RT sided banjo. The scale SRGMPDNS goes from left to right. If you reverse it for RT sided keys, then your SRGMPDNS becomes SNDPMGRS. Now the scale plays from Mundra to Taar saptak from LT to RT and as you get closer to the pick area, your swara become higher and higher in octave. This creates conflict in play.
So, scientifically, there is no such thing as RT sided Banjo.
