Had a high school love that I abandoned because my path in life wasnt going to work for us, of course she didnt know I just let it die out, maybe we could have pushed through together but I loved her too much to make her passenger to my hell. I would have regretted it if I chose her and I would have regretted it if I didnt. But my family came first than a high school love. I still think back and how we could have been a great couple if we made it through somehow but I didnt want to put her through years of pain. I went through hell twice and back so in a way im glad I didnt make her have to go through that. Im good now took 12 damn years, but in another life if my family situation wasnt so bad we could have had something.....just have to deal with it and move on. Song hits me hard every damn time.
