Great to hear two people at the head of their professions talking on a couch. Interesting that the guitar sounds great, like a proper guitar, without any special recording equipment, on my crappy laptop. Nothing else does. You are a genius. In passing, Richard Hawley has a viable alternative version of Scott Walker's Montague Terrace in Blue. I know 'viable' doesn't sound like high praise, but Scott's is a high bar. Thank you so much for all your contributions to guitar making.
Thank you so much for your kind words! Wonderful to hear that you enjoyed the conversation and that the guitar sounded good, even on your laptop. I’ll have to check out Richard Hawley's take on Scott Walker's Montague Terrace in Blue, thanks for the tip. It's always great to discover alternative versions of classics. Thanks again for your support and for being a part of our community.
wonderful interview - i am a big fan of both martin and turnstone! Video tip - set the camera to manual focus, then it won’t keep hunting for a focus point.
So glad you're a fan :-) Thanks for the tip, definitely going to do this in future. In addition to that though, we didn't notice the camera had its stupid automatic "face tracking" focus feature turned on. Have disabled it now and will NEVER turn it back on!!
Yeah…we did say in the description the focus was very ropey and audio was advised! We didn’t feel it was worth losing the interview but camera work will improve in future! :)
Love listening to Martin!
beeeeautiful, gorgeous, splendid instrument, rosie! thank you for sharing this quaint conversation betwixt two lovely humans .. .
Thanks so much! I love having these chats with Martin (both on and off camera!). He's such a genuinely lovely and interesting guy.
A literally and metaphysically enjoyable interview. Thanks for making this and sharing it with us!
Thanks Cams, my absolute pleasure! I'm glad you enjoyed it on so many levels :-) Hope you're keeping well!

Fascinating interview. This level of instrument is far away from what I'll ever own - but it's great to hear all about it :)
Thanks so much, really glad you enjoyed our little chat :-)
A special meeting of two minds
I agree with every word. World class instrument!
Thanks Gianfranco 🙂 I trust your Turnstone is still treating you well!
@@TurnstoneGuitars I couldn’t dream of a better one!
What a beautiful guitar
Oh my.. that first chord got me thinking 😅
We look forward to the output! 🎉
I think the auto focus is turned on. IMO. Great sounding guitar thou.
Yes you are indeed correct - a fatal error :( We thought it worth keeping, but vision not required!
Who the hell was operating tha camera on this??? Focus the f****** for gods sake!!
