- Red Bull BC One Camp: b-boying at its best in Paris!
From July 7th to July 10th, Paris will host the Red Bull BC One Camp at Le WIP Villette: 4 days of workshops, battles and exhibitions free to all!
The Parisian chapter of the Red Bull BC One offers the opportunity for any French dancer to participate in the France Cypher, in the hope of getting his ticket to the Last Chance Cypher, to be held a few days before the Red Bull BC One World Finals in Nagoya (Japan).

Du 7 au 10 juillet, Paris accueillera le Red Bull BC One Camp au WIP Villette pour 4 jours de workshops, battles et expositions ouverts au public. Ce Camp parisien sera l'occasion de sélectionner le meilleur B-boy français du moment lors du France Cypher, mais aussi de mettre en valeur la créativité des scènes locales et de célébrer la culture b-boying sous toutes ses formes et expressions.
Willy deserves to go to BC One, seriously. He has a half dozen combos harder than anything most bboys ever even dream of, along with solid foundation, musicality, freezes.
he kill the beats almost everytime, watch battles of him... willy deserves a spot in BC One
but he still lacks confidence, look at him! it seems like he wants to go home and hide under his bed, while lil kev, who has been bboying since he's a kid, looks like a perfect candidate for the bc one, even when his movements aren't that polished (he still fall really bad at the end of every round).

Pocket is an amazing bboy, no doubt. His command over powermoves is seemingly insane; not only that, he's incredibly consistent and seems to always find the beat when he hits that final freeze.
With that said, his freezes are basically handstands (uses both hands, body is not contorted much)...so I don't know where you're getting this "worldclass" stuff from. Pocket is solid with what he does, but what he does (while insane) doesn't have much variance to it...he's not pulling off Cheerito-class freezes or anything. His footwork is non-existent and his top rock looks burdensome.
Highly skilled bboy, but not exactly who I'd think of as an excellent example of what it is to be a bboy.
Willy does have good musicality.
People seem to think that toprock is the only way to prove that .. It isn't.
Being able to hear and analyse the beat is what matters. What you do with that information afterwards is entirely up to the dancer.
At the final Hong 10 it was like "wait did I choose the wrong bboy? why willy won" LOOL

@@chrisnguyen5922 No, they’re implying that he’s repetitive and bland. I’ve been watching lil kev since the early 2000’s when he was a kid. He does the exact same moves in every battle. He’s just like bboy pocket. Only powermoves, nothing else. No footwork, no toprock, hardly any musicality, etc. Just the same boring bs since he started dancing. Dont get me wrong, he’s a dope bboy but he’s not diverse at all. If He never switches it up and stop being such a powerhead, he’ll never win a Red Bull title.

i think same , and is hard no repeat moves in the next battle , you need a lot of movments for all sets , ..aaaa xd is realy hard

Can anyone tell me, why is it hard for people to jump in FIRST in a battle?
There are many times I would cuz I like to battle and just have the cocky b-boy attitude. Trust me, I at many other times didn’t want to go first. But, will go if it took so long. Had no problem at the end going, regardless.
I'm not a dancer, but I'm guessing in bigger competitions with more on the line, the dancers would be more confident hopping into music they personally feel/understand, because it might be embarrassing if they go all in and miss the beat and end up looking stupid. I also think that they would want to see what the competition would put up first.
