Have you actually installed more than one printer to Mainsail? I can use Octoprint on 3 Marlin printers with no problems, but I can' t seem to get my 3 printers to work simultaneously with Mainsail. Moonraker always gets the printers confused even though the printer. cfg is pointing at the correct directory, mainsail.cfg is pointing at the right directory, and they've all been configured with Kiauh for multiple printers.
@@minimal3dp I can install 3 printers but I cannot run the 3 printers under Mainsail. They error out as a moonraker configuration error "unable to find config." What version are you running of Mainsail? I'm running 2.4.1, klipper v0.11.0-6-g336cc92a, and moonraker v0.7.1-780-gdde9bcc.
Been using Octoklipper since I installed klipper. But I'm curious about trying fluid yet didn't want to uninstall octoprint just in case. Safe to install both? Using an old laptop running linux mint for my server. Love to try it out without messing with octoprint, for now.
Thanks for a great video. Just wondering if you can help me. I’ve managed to install Linux on an old laptop Ive got and got klipper installed and I have build the config files for both my printers and I’m using Mainsail. I’m quite new to all this so hopefully I make sense. My printers are a Ender3 pro with the 4.2.2 board and a Ender3 V2 also with the 4.2.2 board. When I connect 1 printer to the laptop it all works perfectly. If I unplug that printer and connect the other printer it works perfectly and I can print from mainsail etc but if I try to connect both printers at the same time it will only connect to 1 and it losses connection to the other one. I can only but assume it’s because the MCU ID’s are the same? Can I use different usb ports on the laptop? One for the pro and one for the v2? If so how would I do that please? Thanks for your time
Do different ports for the different printers. Configure 1 printer and set it up. Reboot with that printer unplugged and the other unconfigured then plugged in. Set it up. Reboot with each printer plugged in to their port. They should each be on a different port. Let me know if that helps.

Its my 1st time using ssh so im not sure how to do it.
Hi Mike, do you think this is the best linux flavour to use? I read somewhere that it needs to be a debian flavour for it to work properly, is that correct? got an old desktop that i might attempt to do this
It has been tested more on Debian flavors. I do the latest Ubuntu server lts. It is light weight and has a huge community. With that said, I am not a Linux expert so I go with flavors that are well known and large communities.
You said you use windows subsystem for linux; Im running win 11 then powershell type the ssh username but I get a "ssh: Could not resolve hostname username : No such host is known. My main computer is connected directly to my router but the pc is running wifi. Not sure what Im doing wrong
Try checking your router and looking for your machine's IP and connecting with that. I had an issue when I named my machine m3dp1.local. I never could connect with the ".local"
Thanks for the video! I am having an issue where both my printers connect but when I try to run any command like Homing I get a error "mcu 'mcu': Unable to connect". I reflashed my printers with Klipper but still getting the same error.

Cheers for explaining all this, I'm looking forward getting this all done myself. I have two Prusa Mini clones for very rapid prototyping, an Ender 3 that runs buttery smooth, in case i need a larger print bed and in the mail i have a X5SA Pro, to print huge things. they sent me a X5SA-400, but that is another story, i think i really want the "smaller" one.
