I walked away from this incredibly toxic narc almost 3 years ago. Done, never going back and I have absolutely nothing to say to him. Far too little, far too late. My peace is a trillion times more valuable than dealing with this dumpster fire. He brought NOTHING to the table I can't provide for myself except for a largest ego I've ever run across. I relate so much unfortunately. These people wasted our time. The only thing we can do for ourselves is to never deal with them again. The positive thing is you can find somebody ten times better. You're out of their league anyway. Arrogance and a gigantic ego is such a turn-off. Why don't they marry themselves?

The only thing that kept me so long is the fact that he doesn't cheat. Everything else has been a waste of time. It's like I'm building this beautiful life for myself on my own and "eventually" he'll want to be part of it, after all the work is done. And through all these changes he's never been genuinely happy to see me doing so well. I've emotionally checked out at this point. All there is left is to pull the plug.
