    VERY COOL! I can see this changing DIY. Wanna build a bookshelf, Raspberry Pi, plant a garden, try out a recipe etc., put the glasses on, it guides you through it.

    A system where you could add a lot of wifi cameras would also help with accuracy. You could look at a wood beam and see it's exact dimensions and if it's bent or twisted or where high and low spots are (topographical surface map). You could do measurements by just selecting edges in your real life view and make sure everything is plumb and square. Or round for that matter. It could also help enabling much easier construction of more natural and weird construction shapes.
    A kind of "CAD decompiler" that decompiles the real world into cad shapes.
