My company of 22 years is laying my department off next month. We get a small severance package and they will help us find jobs for up to a year within the company ~ I’m in healthcare. My company is based in Texas so I have applied for several positions in Frisco Texas. I’m praying to GOD I get it. But if I don’t get it, moving forward I will be applying for very high ranking positions with 22 years experience and a associate and bachelor degrees. The only thing that may work against me is my age and my years experience on the job. Most companies rather higher younger with a lower wage than to start someone like me at the maximum 😔.
