Bringing in my birthday watching some of my favorite reviewers I have this menu and a few more now I’m really excited to open one of mine you guys are awesome 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
It's true, we do like coffee. Some people like to end (or start) their day with a shot of "Melnais Balzams" [black balsam] in the coffee. It's very strong and herbaceous. The black currant version is good tho.
I was getting more commercials on this video than Nathan. Great video once you get past the commercials but literally it was 2 and a half minutes of Nathan before it throws more loud obnoxious commercials at yeah. Other than that another great MRE by Nathan and crew! Thanks ✌😎
Awesome to see my country's MRE's getting popular. :D About the bread, we really love dark rye. Rye bread usually takes up 1/3 of all bread options in stores around here. We usually eat it alongside soups or with some butter and meat on top.
Coffee and tea usually needs sugar. At least the way I like it, unfortunately they didn't pack any creamer in it. But Phillip is a real man, he'll drink it black out of an empty tin can, made with water from a mud puddle filtered through a clean sock.
I have only had, 1 Latvian ration, older, however, was excellent. That bread is bulletproof, but, tastes good. Your newer meal, had good looking components. The fuel tabs, smell like fish, agreed. Quite aromatic, I have learned in the past. Good looking meal friend. most components, held up well. Hope you enjoyed the majority of the meal. Peace, John.
Had one of these Latvian ones a few years back (pre-covid) and the canned meal was really quite nice, pork in some grain stuff thing I think, the bread I couldn't stand, but the mother appreciated it, I just haven't got the tastebuds to support dark breads... :P
Turbo gum was very popular in ex communist block cointries in 90' and it originates from Turkey. While it had a bad quality it was cheap and had a very cool sport car pics under the wrapping which were the main selling factor of the gum.
I will be going to Riga in less than 2 weeks, I will try to get one Latvian MRE while I am in Riga. Rye bread is commonly eaten in Eastern Europe - Russia, Belarus, Ukraine; it not only taste little bitter but also sour and dry.
This chewing gum brand is around in Europe for ages. I remember chewing it in the late 80‘s.

Always love the foreign rations my favorite has to be the 24 hour Russian one it’s so damn good for some reason lol love the videos Nathan keep it up
Great review and thanks for sharing. Dispite the sugar the quality and nutritional wholesomeness is on a different level.

If people dont start working here then we will not have a country
He only drinks black coffee
As a Brit, the idea of putting creamer in tea brings me out in hives. If no milk is available, I’d rather have black tea any day.
@@xinran1969 I'm in the USA like Nathan and I would never think of adding cream of any kind to tea.
Milk possibly. But I prefer my tea black.
Great video!

Good review thanks. Substantial ration for one meal. Could almost last a day if you weren't fighting.
Turbo is a gum company based in Turkey which sells in Poland, Romania and The Baltic......... (funny the label is English....)
Pumpernickel....😵 😄😃😉

Should have dumped the main on a slice of bread.
What happend to solo reviews?
Nice job guys! Waiting for the pigeon cooking video - lol
You do know that some people put sugar in their coffee or tea right?
Use the honey in the green tea
make the same at your local grocer for pennies on the dollar, these are wildly overpriced on the secondhand market
👍⛏️🇦🇺😊🙋
The rice I had in the one I reviewed wasn’t that flavorful or good to me either it didn’t really have a taste
Why don’t you break up the food in the can with a spoon prior to putting it on the heat? Wouldn’t it make it a bit easier to stir as it’s heating up?
Sugar is the devil
It is
