I think whatever Utah decides will eventually grow on me (except Utah HC), but overall, I'm not feeling these team names too much 😆 The majority of these, as one may argue, conflict with Colorado sports teams, including the Avalanche. So that leaves Fury and Venom, which to me sound like a secondary league like indoor soccer. But if I were to rank these, I'd choose (1) Mammoth (2) Outlaws and (3) Yetis, although I think Yeti singular is better (since you hear the term "the abominable snowman," not snowmen). Just my take though 😛

All these names seem like funky league team names in the 90s. But they still work.
Utah ppl “LOVE” Yeti. And it’s original.
But the other would be fine too as long as it’s marketable like the Vegas and Seattle logos.
This whole AZ/ Utah saga has gotten old.
But gives us hockey ppl someThing to talk about.
Thanks for checking in my friend and congrats on winning the “lottery” :)

The agreement between Ryan Smith, the new owner and the Utah legislature, who ponied up 900M to build/renovate a new arena is that Utah must be in the name. 100% the name will not be Salt Lake or Salt Lake City.

And he said he won’t be done. They may get MLB in a handful of years too.

@JJ-Himself The push to get a MLB team in Utah is being spearheaded by Gail Miller, family, and close associates in a group called "Big League Utah." Gail Miller is the wife of the late Larry H. Miller, who was the former owner of the Utah Jazz and the Delta Center. After her husband's death, Gail sold the Jazz to Ryan Smith.
My point in all of this is that between the Gail Miller family and Ryan Smith, there are people in Utah with deep pockets and are ready, willing, and able to make things happen.

They’d be competing with Nashville Charlotte Portland Orlando and Montreal
I think it would be awesome if they got another big sport in town. Wasn’t possible back then. It is now
