I have listened to this album at least once a week since it has come out, and this is one of my favorite tracks. The fact that you played this so flawlessly live speaks volumes of your abilities as musicians. I am so goddamn bummed that I couldn't make it to this show. If you guys ever play in the South, I will be there.
I came here to watch this cause my girlfriend and I are planning on seeing you guys in Pittsburgh in October. I don't know if she's ready. Hell, I don't know if I'm ready 🤣 This is gonna be an experience, not just a concert, and I'm all about that! 🤘😈🤘
To anybody calling Imperial Triumphant avant garde try hards The irony though is that they have songs that have complete structure that take their elements and blend them well, and then other songs with less structure and less elements but incorporate one over arching theme of cacophony, which sort of renders any argument about them sounding like a mess invalid because theyre writing specifically for it to sound messy with time signatures and looseness, often seen in free form jazz, which is practically the backstory to the musicians in this band. Its sort of tasteless to say their fans are try hards when what theyre doing is so avant garde and really only done by bands such as Portal, when Portal is avant garde in a even messier way, but atleast Imperial creates some resemblance of enviornment when it comes to tones and sounds, versus Portal which sounds like Tesla generator plugged into a Marshall amp, which isnt even suppose to take away from the talent or work of that band either. Bands like this are taking an extreme risk, its purely creative and nothing is remotely guaranteed in this line of work and very easy to shit on when you yourself aren't even attempting to be creative in the vein of releasing music that isnt mainstream, isnt a genre and is a heirloom of your experience and past playing into a body of work. TLDR, Its easy to shit on other peoples music when you sit by a keyboard and not be creative and put out material yourself.
You guys thinking about coming back to DC sometime in the future? Preferably not 18+? Was thinking about coming but as always age limits are a problem for me. But I understand if an age limit is required due to inappropriateness or to keep some kind of thematic element in the crowd. If you ever run an all ages show in DC, you’d bet I’d be coming down.
I really loved this song in Sex and the City! The parts are. #romcom #sexandthecity #gottaloveit #shakira #gilmoregirlsaintgotshitonthisbitch #stainorstein #hashtag #tacos

This is avant-garde black metal period.
Captain Beefheart meets Morbid Angel
This is like if the party guests from the movie Eye Wide Shut started a band. I like it.
I am not high enough to understand this music right now but I know when I come back to it later im gonna think this is fkn genius

We will return to the South next year with new material.
What a spot on performance! Love how primal the chanting in the middle section is even without the choral backing.
I can't belive it could be something so special, so new, and so perfect.
I can't wait to hear and see it live

I was looking for Portal SHREDDING a cover of One by metallica. This is the nearest thing.
This is the 'where is one?' type of moshpit: people standing there figuring out the rhythm. But on a serious note I dig it
Epic

Typically venues that sell alcohol (very few dont) have this restriction, nothing to do with the material.
Reminds me of early SWANS... but just a bit.
I get those Swans vibes too
Reminds me a bit of Zappa
Damn... even Imperial Triumphant has fretwatchers

Musically they remind me of Iceburn a bit

Cant have any wrong notes when there are no right notes

Only the most tryhard foo can rep this mess
This comment wins! 🤣🤣
I mean..... I like it immensely. This sort of music comes full circle to pretty much all my prior taste.
