Justin Herbert actually took another step forward in efficiency this year, despite all the injuries, another new OC, being hit so many times in so few games. He even got really good in the 4th this year, with a 4th quarter passer rating over 100, even though it was one of his low points the first 3 years.
He has unfinished business in the NFL he was so close the first time. It probably ate at him. He fulfilled his first mission with Michigan. He could've came back to the NFL years ago but wanted to finish what he started and win a championship. He was there 9 seasons. At 60 he knows he doesn't have much time left. This was the right time and the right situation. IMAO Justin Herbert has been at a disadvantage when it came to coaching. Andy Reid vs Brandon Staley, come on. Lets see what happens, when he is not at such a big disadvantage when it comes to coaching.
This landed on my suggestions and I read the title and said "Let's see what this guys has to say". I clicked it, then got a jump-scare when Victoria Garrick's husband popped up
So many people have been critical of Herbert yet I never see them mention the fact he's never had more than two years in the same offensive system since high school. I can't imagine trying to develop in the NFL when you're constantly doing year one installs. When you couple that with the fact he's never even had an average run game since entering the NFL, I think people are underselling his performance in two injury riddled years.
@@georgelopez7357 What year did he have an average run game for to rely on? I guess you could say his rookie year when they were 18th in rushing ypg. After that is was 21st, 30th, and 24th.
I’ve never seen a larger ratio of hand-to-head size in my life.
Perspective+QB hands

Dude you said “San Diego” lol haven’t done that in a while.
To be fair he talked about the college before the team
he was referencing the San Diego Charger team Jim played for decades ago...
Stanford was 41 point underdog to USC. Went to Colosseum and beat USC. 😂

@@georgelopez7357 You misread then. I said he's never even had an average run game.
You said the San Diego Chargers they are the Los Angeles Chargers
They will always be San Diego Chargers. Stadium was always filled with charger fans. 😊
