It can be so hard not to get new notebooks and such. A fresh notebook/planner feels like a new beginning. I was tempted to buy a weeks along with my cousin HON but decided I will just make the most of what I already have. Thanks for this.
I enjoyed this video very much. I will also be using up my stash and going through the things that I have. I don't have a crazy amount but like you showed in your project pan, it takes a lot longer to use certain products than we think. My main goal is to get through my transparent page flags and sticky notes. I have regular sticky notes but I use those a lot and actually prefer those, so I want to get through the transparent ones and not buy those again lol I also want to get through some icon stickers and dots, not a lot but I am not crazy about them so I want to use them and move on. I want to thank you for reminding me of using what I have and not just mindlessly spending. I will be on this journey too.
It’s so good to see a video from you. I’m sorry you’re feeling sick- I hope it passes quickly and you’re perfectly well soon! I’m still using up my notebooks and stuck with my weeks mega and Cousin(hon this time) when it came time to purchase something. I DID get some a5 hobonichi covers and I still feel bad about that. The HON doesn’t even fit it🤣🤣 I will be evaluating the HON to see if it’s worth it for next year. And I know I’ll use the covers I purchased. I think you’re right about paying attention to how much content you consume. It’s strange how many of these videos I watch during this time of year! I’m trying to really narrow down the people I actually follow on YT. I saw a video the other day where the theme was being inspired not influenced by social media. I like that. It’s wonderful that you’re exploring a new visual style in your books! It’s super cute. Again, feel better soon.
Aww, there's no need to feel bad if you're gonna use those covers! I wasn't perfect with my low-buy this year so no judgment from me. I have been watching a lot more minimalism and low consumerism content just to keep me motivated. 😆 A side effect is large planner stacks are now too overwhelming for me. I think curating the content you consume does affect your buying habits.
First of all: I hope you’ll get well soon! 💙 The Sterling Ink Weeks/N1 has an amazing layout and I was definitely tempted by it. But in the end, I actually decided to use a Weeks as my main planner for 2024 because I love the cover designs by Tomitaro Makino and couldn’t walk past the design Hobonichi used for the Weeks this year. My idea is to stay in the Weeks until the end of August 2024 (I actually laid out the September to December pages as work trackers already, so they will not go unused, they’re just being repurposed). After that, I will either use an undated weekly planner by Twines & Paper or one by PaperTess Designs. Both shops are based in Germany, so shipping costs were low and I didn’t need to pay import taxes - plus I really need to switch back to planning in academic years, which start in September in Germany. Might still buy an undated weekly planner in the Sterling Ink layout if Catherine decides to release one … The rule I set myself for this year was “no dated planners except Hobonichi” and I think I fared quite well with it. The style you’re intending to go for in 2024 is sooo cute, and I love the writing board you showed! 💖 I hope it’ll bring you a lot of joy! 💕
I am so proud of myself I just finished 75 notebook's it makes me happy that I can do it 😀✔️ I hope you feel better soon 🩷🩵❤️💜💖💓💗💞🌺🌷🪻⚘️🌼
Wow, that's a lot of progress. Congrats! 💕💕
