One nice book that helped me a lot in my traveling to New Orleans was "Exploring New Orleans Like A Native" by Brandy Cole, I got that superb book on Amazon. I would have been lost without that book Thanks to that dude❤😅
Love New Orleans. I go all this time ever since I was a little baby. My aunt has a mansion on the street that was shown on here and it really is beautiful to go sit on her porch and watch people pass.
Amazing! Thanks for sharing! I didn't know much about New Orleans but now I do! I'm personally not into the Halloween or voodoo stuff. But Defintely anything to do with scenic pathways and nature I'm in! Oak trees
You have far more to see here than You know of . The cabildo ,The pharmacy museum , Breakfast at Antoines . Brennans restaurant, The absinthe house and much more .
New Awlins, New Orleens is for songs only. Cafe Demonte coffee and Beneits The river walk and sit to watch the ships and barges go by. Pat O'Brians for the real Hurricane., Royal St. for antiques. French Market for junk, used to be a great fresh food market. Frenchman St. for music. Be careful, don't go alone, don't go where there aren't a lot of people.
@@vieuxacadian9455 I know but you have to know New Orleans. Lots of great places uptown. I lived on Magazine for 11 years. But that wasn't a safe place back then either.
@@glizzardo2692 What do I know. lived on Magazine 13 years, work downtown all 13. But, I agree, now that I say it out loud, it is orlins, kinda, the r is almost silent, almost.
Let’s see, you lived on Magazine for 11 years in one reply and 13 years in another. Either way I’d think you’d know how to spell 'Cafe du Monde' and 'beignets'.
Lovely video of my hometown but PLEASE learn the proper pronunciation of New Or-lens, accent on Or and it’s almost Awlins but never Nawlins! Thanks 😊 🖤💛

Literally no one down here says new awlins, just new orlins. And every bit of that is tourist central

Really aching to visit here, although I do wonder how much I'll be missing out on the scene when I neither eat seafood nor drink alcohol
Thanks
NOLA!
There are no cobblestone streets in the French Quarter. Only pot holes.
You must visit cafe du monde and eat beignets with coffee.
Oui , cafe du monde est magnifique .
Uh, there are no "cobblestone" streets in the French quarter, that's something found in Charleston S. C. though. ⚜️

We have a house in a town about 45 minutes SSW of the city. The only time we go to the New Orleans area is to the airport.
It’s just New Orleans. No Leans in it. New or lens. Bless your heart.
If you don't eat at Dooky chase there's no point in going.
These are great things for tourists to do in NOLA if they can manage not to get murdered.
New Orleans has more french and Spanish and African roots than Caribbean
C'est Verite ami
European roots...
Stop saying "New Orleens", sheesh! 😖
I can't take him seriously when he can't pronounce it correctly!!!!
It's New Orleans not New Orleens
Hand grenade
Oui !!!!!!!! C'est verite !!!!!!!
You don’t even know how to say it
Teach the guy. Yerdme ?
You shall know how to pronounce New Orleans properly.
Nouvelle Orleans en Notre Francais .
Naturally Nawlins Yerdme ?
Please look very closely before you make the mistake of going there.
Awe it aint so bad here . Ya gotta be careful every place these days .
