Or it may be because not many of them singing this genre and that their voice mostly are anime style. I hope she could get more recognition in PD48. Seeing her introduction video in 3 languages, mostly Korean, I know she is very talented and hard-working. Miyu-san, ganbatte.
Siti Robiatul Adawiyah actually there are so many japanese rnb singers like utada hikaru, thelma aoyama, miliyah kato, juju, Ai, etc...and for jazz you should hear shiina ringo or jazz group called Soil and pimp sessions they are really great jazz group
There's even plenty jazzy/r&b song in anime, so not sure what you mean with anime style
there are so many Japanese r&b artists, go listen to BENI and Kumi Koda
Maybe its because you are not that familiar with the japanese market? There are a variety of singers in japan not just the generalized typical jpop idol voice.

If you were looking to earn a living after the war you could learn how to play jazz for the American soldiers occupying the country. Ever since then has has seriously flourished, and it's present in all your favorite mediums from video games to dramas to anime, and just the music scene in general.

정말 듣기 좋은 편한 목소리 몇번이고 들어도 질리지 않는
produce48をたまたまRUclipsで知り、色々検索していく中で竹内さんのカバー曲がヒットし存在を知りました。そしてこの曲を聞いた時にビビッときました‼凄く好きです。格好いいですし、凄く癒されます。韓国でデビュー出来ない時は本当にショックでやるせない気持ちでいっぱいでしたが、卒業発表の動画を拝見し、竹内さんが納得していることが唯一の救いです。個人的にはAKBのようなシステムや、いかにもアイドルといった感じなどは、元々竹内さんには合わなかったの？かは分かりませんが、才能を埋めている気がして、そこは勿体無いと思いましたが…しかし、そのお陰で韓国のオーディション番組に出演し、そして私みたいに竹内さんの事を何も知らなかった世界の人達が竹内さんの存在を知り、そしてその素晴らしい歌声や、取り組む姿勢や人柄に惹かれ、あっ❗この人すきだな、応援したいな、もっと歌聞きたいな…と知り、思うきっかけになったので、これまで大変な事やもどかしい事や辛いことは沢山あったかと思いますが、全て無駄ではなかったのだなと思いました。自分のスタイルやこだわりを自由に表現出来る場所で、卒業したら思いっきり表現していって欲しいです。選挙や握手会なんて行きたいと思った事はありませんでしたが、来年選挙あるならCD買おうかなとか、韓国でデビュー出来なかったけど、あなたは本当に素晴らしく、素敵な魅力ある方です。そう思っている方は世界中にいます。これからも素敵な歌を聴けることを、元気な姿を拝見出来ることを楽しみにしています。とお伝えしたかったですが…。

I'm just saying that akb48 is not giving her the opportunity to sing. No one can tell that she is a good singer if she sings in a group.
I understand your point of view. But I think we are both right. If Miyu hadn't made a solo video of my favorite song, "Bokutachi wa tatakawanai". Then I would not have noticed her. But then again if she hadn't sung solo on youtube and only performed as a group with akb48. I would not have admired her singing.
There are good singers in akb48. I honestly don't know who the girls are, there are over 300 of them, I just listen to the music. But I only know that there are good singers within the group because of some solo singing on akbingo.
Im glad right now she get all the recognition from korean and japanese because of her awesome perfomance in produce48.

연습생은 아니고.멤버죠,,데뷰한 멤버인데.몇년동안 일본에서는 인기가 없었다고 합니다.이번 오타쿠들의 총선에서 56위인가.거의 권외라고 보시면 됩니다.이렇게 실력이 있는데.정말 아까운 아이죠.

커버곡을 듣다보면 아무리 가창이 뛰어나도 고개를 갸우뚱하는 경우가 없다고는 못하겠다. 아마 옷이 조금 안 어울렸으리라.
다른 사람의 옷을 걸치는 것은 쉬워도, 패션을 소화하는 것은 다른 이야기라 생각한다. 사이즈는 둘째치고 색상, 핏, 기타 등등.
하지만 이 분은 이미 훌륭한 리폼 기술과 그 패션을 소화할 핏을 갖추고 있다고 느꼈다.

미유언니는 akb보다 한국에서 하고 싶은 음악도 맘껏하고 솔로든 그룹이든 한국에서 다시 데뷔했으면 좋겠어요. 9년이라는 긴 시간을 기다렸는데 만일 프듀48에 뽑혀서 활동을 한다해도 1년6개월이었나? 그정도 지나면 다시 일본에가서 똑같은 생활을 반복해야 하잖아요.
일본에서는 노래는 안보고 귀엽고 예쁘면 다 밀어주는 반면
한국에서는 실력만 있어도 미유언니는 충분히 성공할 수 있다고 생각해요.
힘들었던것도, 지금 누구보다 간절한것도 알아서 더 응원해 주고 싶네요
