    There's got to be some irony to the narcissistic god like images of Marcus Aurelius in your presentation right?

      Thank you for the interesting question! Marcus Aurelius was indeed a great emperor, but he also emphasized humility and did not consider himself 'divine'. His use of imagery may have been a way to emphasize the contrast between the ideal and the real view of power and self-control.
