Not anymore. Laser range is actually usable now and you just max March for zoning and farming. Feels great.

Been a while since Tinker had March… i recall having to cast march clicking behind tinker to get an ideal orientation to farm creeps effectively from a desired POV.
i was thinking of a similar build as the second tinker, just being mega annoying + hard to kill with low item cooldowns while protecting your team mates, maybe works better as pos 3 instead of 2
it is imba, if you get 6 slotted that is, or if the enemy had a decent knowledge about dota, you'll get throned at
But whats the diff between this new tinker and the old tinker being able to rearm his defensive items. Wouldnt it have worked better back then
@@albabtf8248 with old tinker you need to keep using rearm (which has a huge mana cost late game) and it wont be viable at all to go support, better to just go full damage, and when you run out of mana you TP back, but the new tinker doesn't need to rearm his item, thus fewer mana cost
5ws on tinker in 7.36a. just rush arcane blink then ags into aether lens. Just farm with your march until arcane blink. Always use ur shield because its your best spell (strong dispel and doesn't cancel rearm) and dont forget to buy OC that wil make you dagger have 2sec cd

This is not a very good tinker...im a tinker spammer and its in my muscle memory to use most of my item before i rearm...the fact that he is not abusing the 16sec cd greaves is major mistake, the mend debuff cause by greaves also have shorter cd means you can spam the heal every 16secs...
He didnt buy arcane blink (biggest mistake especially current patch its one of the best core item to rush as tinker after you buy like 2-3x null talisman) and on 17:52 he do absolutely nothing for 5secs, tf dude, rearm, cast your linken on your carry, anything... but he is immortal player and im just legend 5,..better dun judge too much.

Yeah tinker is pretty bad when they decided to remove the item refresh cooldown on Rearm. I mean having March of the Machines is nice so you can still farm relatively fast but removing the item refresh effect just ruins the point of infinite hex on the target
nah there isnt really any hero that has the kind of supportive pressure tinker has now. zoning, blinding, shielding with status resistance. you literally just need arcane blink and windwaker, and if you want big d damage aghs and phylactery
the blink dispel shield makes it much much much harder to kill tinker himself. but he is alot weaker til like 3 items

What strikes me the most isn't how bad Tinker is, but how boring he is now.
Thats my main gripe. I think after a while people are gonna understand how to use the new tinker and he will become strong.
Its just obnoxious to think about how perfectly designed the hero was and how smooth and natural the old playstyle was. Now its just clunky standing around in between spells, low cd which u waste by being stuck in rearm, no rhythm behind your actions. Just awkwardly casting your spells as they come off cd. Its just clunky and unsatisfying, an incoherent hero design.
I literally used to pick tinker when my right click button was semi busted, because after laning stage you can play the hero smoothly and naturally without ever needing to rightclick.

Gameplay, try to stay in safe lane until you have MoM, once you have mom you can wreck towers so fast with dragon form, and join fights, you will easily buy daedalus like really fast, then bkb after a few fights and farming.
I've had a lot of games where I have 22mins item lock with Treads, Armlet, MoM, Daedalus, BKB, Aghs/pike
of course those were the best games where enemies felt like bots.
but most of the time you'd be wrecking literally anyone. I don't think no one knows how strong this is.
