I was skeptical at first, but was very pleased that he was not just repeating the same old thing everyone else does. He presents many new references I have not heard in others videos
This is one of the most inspiring talks I've seen on youtube in a long time. This plants the seeds of ideas in the minds of the young innovators who will carry forward. This gives me hope that there is a better way. Absolutely brilliant
Fascinating. Thank you. This resonates as here in Devon we have a group of people keen to live with the land and create a living laboratory of structures to support human health working regeneratively, using biomimetic/biophilic/sacred geometric design by co-creating with nature and the land. Using research and technology for good in this way is key to the future of our species and to honour the beautiful planet that is our home.
Inspiring talk, however it does not address the management issue. We can mimic nature with our tools and technology, however if we don't change the context under which we manage these tools and technologies, we will continue downward, just at a slower rate ... There is a solution for the management problem, we need to manage holistically, think of the whole instead of the parts. Holistic Management.
4:00 but is there a method to use Sahara desert sand which cannot be used for building materials yet for example concrete 7:35 it has perfect design when the top can be opened there is a draft so it can be used it's shape to cool the building . I'm sure solar panels can be used too on the surface?

But how can we construct buildings in a city so it can reduce urban heat islands? 🤔
