A short trip down memory lane to television heaven. Dallas really was the best. Very sad about the actors who have since died, particularly Ken Kercheval and Jim Davis. They were my favourites. Thanks for the entertainment. Rest in peace.
Dallas was my favourite show on tv back in the 1980's. I have the entire series on dvd including the spin off movies. Still love watching it. Its pure classy "Feel Good" tv. with beautiful ladies, and handsome men. Living in the UK, it was pure escapism tv. The kind that sadly no longer exists.

Sad so many are gone even some that died years ago, I knew Larry Hagman was gonna be last but still wasn’t ready for it! He was such a great actor that no one else could’ve played JR any better! Even when he was sick and was ready to pass away he still kept working and bringing so much love and care to one of his best known roles!

Barbara Bel Geddes as Miss Ellie Ewing Farlow and Howard Keel as Clayton Farlow were my two favourites. Sadly they passed away less than a year apart in real life! I really liked Linda Gray as well. She looks fantastic and natural. I hope she lives a long life. So sad about losing her son.
I loved this show. It would come on right after Dukes of Hazard on Friday nights. Every Friday night I babysat. The girls and I would watch the dukes. Then I put them to bed and would watch Dallas. This brings back great memories.
I used to watch this show to learn to speak English back in 1980 or 41 years ago! 2 weeks ago I drove through Dallas from Houston to Colorado! There are so many movies I used to watch without understanding any English and I rewatch it sometimes and I finally get it lol.

The show was aired in 1978, the oil boom of the petroleum industries, there were lots of opportunities & money on the oil patch. So oil tycoon was a dream for everyone!!

As much as I love Linda Gray she does not look like that image today, you just have to google what she looks like now and you can clearly see deep wrinkles in her face and neck, she looks like she's in her 70s. So no matter how healthy your lifestyle and no matter how much botox you inject you will never be wrinkle free at the age of 80.
